Is it possible to create a decision where you create a title and you grant it at once ?
I know I can create the title but I doubt AI (if able to use this decision too) will grant it next after to the correct vassal.
My idea is it to create a generic (titular county or duchy) marquisate title to grant to a bordering count. generic (southern march, lower march etc...) because a marqisate is supposed to be on borders, so can't be a static de jure title IMHO.
So, I would like to know what is possible or not and any idea to improve/make feasible the idea.
Since I am here. I can get my hand a modding ressource from months ago. it was a modified interface to add a councillor job slot. if someone have a link to provide it would be grateful.
Arko: I would use a decision (or event) with the syntax:
Code:
random_vassal = {
limit = { tier = count any_neighbor_ruler = { NOT = { religion_group = ROOT } } }
grant_title = d_march_southern
}
That would be a good start, though I haven't tested it. Let's say that the decision-taker is the Catholic King of Jerusalem. He would grant the title possibly to the count who holds the border with the Fatimids. But I think it would be hard to target the right count-vassal without writing the decision particularly for this county. If it is the Kingdom of Jerusalem in the twelfth century (at its fullest extent), the border could be to the south or east or maybe north. Targeting specific provinces is hard (for me at least--I am no modding wizard), so the results could be unpredictable to a degree depending on the situation.
The GOT team succeeded in adding an additional council position by reducing the size taken up by each councilor (while holding the size of the council window static) and adding another council position in the relevant /common folder file (I hope this bit of reverse engineering can be forgiven: Doomdark mentioned that it was possible in a DD thread, and I spent a good month trying to figure it out myself). I am considering adding court poet to the council as it was important to post-Roman insular Celts and early Germanic tribes for that matter. You can assign two councilors the same primary attribute (Intrigue, learning, martial, etc.) to help the AI pick the 'best' fit. My bards, scops, and skalds use learning as an example.
