Hello! I'm working on planning and making graphics for a mod now, and there are some things that I want to implement, but as of yet I am unsure if these two following things are possible:

1) Does a command exist, that can change the type of region? (for example from metropolis to megapolis)

2) Is there a command that allows you to add or subtract a specific resource cost for equipment production?
(For instance - can you add a tech or event that makes your planes better, but makes them cost aluminium to build?)

Any answers here would be greatly appreciated.

You almost certainly be able to change a state's industrial type for a mod. Absolutely.

I'm basing my state changing/adding mod on that assumption.

In terms of the second question, I'd say the same. You probably can in the game files like any other mod. Not sure what you mean by command though so I'm not sure how much I am answering your question...

Oh certainly one can change the game files themselves. But I mean through ingame commands. (As in creating events to do so)

For your first question, I am very sure that changing infrastructure of a province is possible via consoe commands.
However, for the secomd question, I highly highly doubt that would be a command.
