So I'm pretty new to modding this game but I've gotten into it because of a very specific goal. I'm doing a Roman Empire run and I'm pretty obsessed with keeping everything de jure. And this is only really possible by being able to claim and revoke ANYTHING. One way I'd be able to integrate this in an RP-acceptable way (it can't be using commands, it has to feel right), is to reform hellenic and become the Pontifex Maximus and then using the request claim ability essentially on yourself, being able to give yourself claims in exchange for piety.

I already made the temporal head able to theoretically use these religious abilities but I can't use them because "Can't interact with self."

So is there any precedent in modding these papal favors and changing requirements?

Those are mostly hard-coded except for the score weightings do determine if the religious head will accept your request.
Those options are also not available if you have a temporal religious head (or, of course, no religious head).
You would need to create entirely new versions of the interactions as decisions.

If you're just looking for a way to revoke a title, grant and retract a minor title until they are completely upset with you, then use an interaction where refusal is treason, like Stop Plot. You can then arrest them, and if it fails, they will revolt, giving you an excuse to revoke a title without tyranny. If you succeed at arresting them, just release them and try again.
