After having played vanilla CK II from its release, I've decided to try and modify few things to make the game more enjoyable for me. It all started with small things, like making a new character or making new culture specific buildings. Then, the actual process of making these new things that are exclusively available to me in the game became very exciting. So I went as far as making an entire map out of my imagination, with my imaginary characters, religions, cultures, and events. So far, I must say that making a new original map is the hardest and the most tedious work ever !
But after I've gotten everything to work, finally seeing my inter-woven text files and image files... Wow it blew my mind. Weeks of work coming to life is just like.. when you first built your Lego castle...
Well... then when I finally decided to actually play my new world... pfff... It's kinda boring. I mean, I made this. So there is no real excitement. I've looked into every single file of CK II so I know how everything pretty much works now. And it's just like when you work at a steak house, you don't really want to have steak for dinner.
So here I am off to make another mod from my imagination.
I very much doubt I will ever actually play the game now though. LOL
