MODDING HELP -Adding Coats of Arms

Hello,
I have just started modding this game, and I found it to be quite easy and enjoyable, but I have now come to a standstill. I wish to mod the coats of arms for various countries, but I do not know how to do this. How would some of you recommend I approach this problem, and if possible perhaps you can suggest a few programs with which I could do this and what specific files I should mod. Like I said I am relativity new at this, but creating new dynasties usually means a random coat of arms, and the coat of arms of a dynasty named darkstrider should not be a dolphin.

For titles, changing CoAs is very simple. Simply go to Crusader Kings II\gfx\flags, and edit the flag for the title in question (E.G., e_byzantium if you want to change the CoA of the Empire of Byzantium). You can use any image editor that lets you edit .tga (Targa) files, for example Photoshop or GIMP.

As to dynasties, I don't know, sorry.
