--- Synced my account. Still can't see any modding subforums. Finding them is so complicated why exactly? ---
Anyway, I created a mod called "reasonable estates" for the steam workshop that mods just some basic numbers for the estate feature: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1289226992&searchtext=estate
The problem is, when I change the burghers estate's minimum authority from 25 to 20 in the commons\estates\03_burghers.txt the whole estate breaks for some reason:
Their name in the estates tab changes to "~states_burghers", there is no estate description anymore (trying to link to burghers_desc instead) and the interactions are linked to "NoEstate". For some countries (like France) this creates a new estate (~states_burghers) alongside the still functional Bourgeoisie. For others it just replaces the Merchant Guild.
Any ideas how and why this is happening? All I did was change a 5 into a 0 and it seems to work just fine for the nobility, church etc.
Thanks in advance!
