Moddifying Province Names

I need some help for a mod I am working on (I'll come swing by and post an official posting of it when I've got some more work done)

Anyway, I need to change the province names. I've managed to do this in the province_names.csv, which changes the ingame text-referenced names. But how on earth do I change the graphical-map names? I cannot find a file for it, and all the tbl files won't open in any program that I have tried thus far.


I have seen some mods change it, but I have searched and have seen no link to a way explaining this.

Any help would be nice.

I used to rename a whole bunch of provinces. You can see it here:

All you need just Jamie's Map Utility that converts tbls into jpgs or bmps. Then open them in an image editing software that is at your disposal, erase the old names. Right your own instead. Relatively simple

edit: I don't know why, but 10 tries of 'it didn't work', on the 11th it did.
