I'm just desperately hoping that the AI won't be hardcoded. For EU3 (pre-In Nomine) it was one thing, but for an all out war game AI moddability is a must-have.

The moddable ai scripting system introduced to EU3 later in its lifetime was by no means intuitive, and mods using it are still in the early testing phase after 9 months. Hopefully with "two developers dedicated to the AI full time" now, we'll see a much more clear-cut modding system, along with what is sure to be a generally more capable AI.

The funny thing is that the scriptable AI for EU3 is far more powerful than anything we've done before, and provides flexibility for the modders beyond the "cripple scripts" we've had in previous games.
