A very nice mod indeed, its kinda more immersing than most of the other mods out there IMHO.

One problem i encountered and I'm not sure whether it is because of a faulty install, the mod or the beta patch: when playing as Germany and getting the Molotov Ribbentrop event in case i propose (historic or limited) it and Russia accepts (i see the event in the log) i get no "accepted" event in return and as a result the rest of the chain (east Poland to Russia,...) never fires. when i deliberately trigger the event earlier in the game everything works well...so might it be the case that events aren't triggered under certain circumstances when all effects have already been fulfilled? (is that maybe even what koenig12 was talking about?)

And i suppose the next patch is done when its done eh? :p

I had no Molotov-Rib agreement either

Hi all, I got no MR agreement either in my Trotsky USSR game. It really killed me when the Germans invaded from eastern Poland. This campaign has gone on forever. I thought I had the Germans dead in the summer of 44. I was really destroying many divisions when they seemed to be out of manpower. Ha I only took back about 4 or 5 provinces before the winter hit. They were near but not in Leningrad, Moscow or Sevastapol. I figured summer of 45 I would finish them off. I made what I thought were several good large attacks. The AI waited until my units were weak and counter attacked. They broke through at Rostov and pocketed (and destroyed) 33 divs near Sevastapol. That was the first pocket ever in this game. I barely survived until winter. Now in summer 46 they have taken Leningrad and are next to Moscow. I have a level 4 Nuke plant going in Gorkij but, I do not think it will survive to make a Nuke. The US invaded in Greece and have been stuck there for two years now. They Nuked two German cities but it did not help. This is one of the best Russia games that I ever had. Thanks Koenig.

that does sound pretty cool, my games never seem to go on long enough these days before i get bored. one thing i would point out, it is probably a lot more sensible to place your rocket test sites and nuclear reactors deep in siberia where nobody will ever have the patience to take them. i put mine in semipalatinsk, mainly because of metal gear solid :D

Hi and thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately if you start the Nuke program with the event it puts your free level 1 reactor in Gorkij. I would have preferred something farther away but I thought I was winning at the time and wanted to save the time of building level one. I think the event is good. I was not going to build Nukes but, the event looked nice. It was cool when the US Nuked Essen in 44. I do not ever remember the AI building and using Nukes and I have played these games for a long time. The Armageddon scenario does not count. It may have happened but, I was really suprised this time. Thanks again... d Oh and I remember that FPS game.

Hi, one little question again.
I'm currently playing germany as a monarchy and without the more challenging option for the SOV. It is august 1941, short after the scripted attack on france.
Now i was checking the SOV how they are doing, since they are my next target. And shocking there are over 320 divisions on the border ( including 120 tanks ) They have a total of > 400 divisions vs my 120 ( 14 tanks ). The IC is 630(SOV all self supported) vs 300 (GER 220 due to the lack of resources ). Tech level of the SOV in the land technologies is as good as mine. I honestly don't now how to beat them without gamey techniques. Together with my allies i somehow could get maybe 300 divisions but even then i stand no change against the 120+ tanks.
And this is on the easy level. I can't imagine what happens if i selected the other option.
Are these numbers WAT? Especialy this early ( maybe 2 or 3 years later it would be plausible).

i found the opposite happened when playing as the soviets. by 1940 they had around 40 armoured divisions which seemed insanely huge to me. at least i had the advantage that it took them about 6 days to run out of oil.

ok, to be honest, i invested in some ships and a rocket research facility. maybe without these "wasted" ics i could have 40+ tanks by now. but even then i'm no match for the SOV army.
btw it seems that some regions in russia gets free resource bonus. i watched the region of molotov for the first 5 years of the game as tannu tuva. At the start it produced 18 raw materials. During the game it jumped to 26 and later to 39 without any event displayed in the log or a technology that would explain this. In my current game in 1941 it produces 68 units of raw material. there are some other regions with the same phenomen. This explaines the high ic. Is there a way for me to reduce this bonus/slow it down.

Well the Soviets get total ic modifier events all the time and that combined with alot of manpower is brutal, one game when i was Japan and Soviet battled Germany, the Germans was looking like they where winning with Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad captured, then i look at the Sov ic and it was 980/340, thats almost 1000ic. It also means that their ic efficency is at about 280% and also if they started with 10 energy in a province then it would be 28 with the 280% increase. One year later in the winter of 43 the Germans had lost Berlin to a Soviet with almost 900 divisions.

Speaking of bug-fixes, there also seems to be an error with air doctrines. They grant negative efficiency to air missions instead of positive, so the more air techs you research, the worse your air units become. :eek:o

Unfortunately the updated NTL isn't done yet.
The bugfix is ready and has been released in French version.
I just need to check the modified files with winmerge and to add the new NTL patch to release the new version.

Nice :)

The problem with the missing Molotov Ribbentrop reply notification, has it been fixed, is it yet of unknown origin or possibly just my installation that was broken?

Also, does the french version not need a NTL patch? If it does why not release the English version without too? (Yeah yeah i know, I'm too impatient ;))
