How do i add the original game as a mod? I have some ideas for a mod of my own but dont want to break the game(better to break a mod), but i cant get the game to apper when i launch it(i have death and taxes, and it appers)

Make a text document in the mod folder and name it Original.mod
The contents of the file should look like this:

then just make a new folder the mod folder an copy ALL the game files there. You now have a mod that's just like the base game, though these steps are unnecessary. It's easier if you just mod the old fashioned way - "extend = history" in the code list means that the game will use all default history files but if duplicate files are found then it'll use the one located in your mod folder. "replace = map" means it replaces your entire folder instead of just individual files you've modded. With this method all you need to do is copy over the files you want to change (in the correct folder/subfolder(s) of course) to your mod location and you can safely make modifications to the copied files. If things go wrong just delete them or replace them with the old default files.

i figured it out. folloow up question. if i want to make and name decision i have to do so in the localisation folder. but in what file there?

You shouldn't need to do this since modding the game doesn't require that you actually overwrite any base game files.

And I believe any of the localization files is fine.
