[MOD] Witcher Kings

So, I never had a chance to try this mod before, but since I just finished the books yesterday I was wondering firstly if the mod is still worked on? and secondly, how much is the mod centered on the books, story-wise, and whether the main characters from the books (like Yennefer, Geralt and Ciri) are playable?
(I was thinking for example if a Ciri as queen of Cintra, and maybe as Emhyr's heir, is possible in this mod).

It crashes alot of mods.
You just go the custom start and then it's fine but the new fancy scenario start seem it takes some extra work.
I'm on the SVN from last week some time, and it crashes then but it's not so useful really so better to skip anyway.
Anyway, as to the Blank Event issue I mentioned before, reason I can't find it, it doesn't get saved. So you just save the game, retire then load the game and it's gone and then the mod runs fine from there no trouble.

The Sorceresses aren't playable, but they're in the game. They're treated as a theocracy. As for witchers, you can hire them to rid your realm of monsters, but they aren't playable as they are landless. You can play as any landed character, except the sorceresses. I haven't seen Ciri, but Yen, Geralt, Triss, Zoltan, Dandelion, and many from the books are in the game. You can search them by loking for the "canon" trait. JonStryker is the dev and he's still developing it, though the dev team is pretty small.
Well that kind of a shame, since pretty much any interesting character I can think of in books are either witchers, sorcerers/sorceresses or mercenaries (in the case of several dwarves
), my opinion of most monarchs in the series goes from indifferent to hate... maybe I'll give Vizimir of Rodenia and Calanthe of Cintra a shot (if they are playable).A minor question though, is Francesca playable? She might be a sorceress, but she is a monarch as well, and even if her chance of having a heir of her dynasty is slim at best, as she states herself in the books, she is one thousand years old, and is likely to live for a long time (which means that a potential game with her will be a one-character game, but an extremely long-lived one).

Been playing this mod and have to say I love it. Admitingly I started playing it because even though I was getting burned out binging on Witcher 3 I still had an itch for the world it was based in XD. Still I really like the mod the only issue I've come across is when I started as Temeria the Assassin's of King event popped up but was blank, so not sure what's going on there. Still though my character didn't die heirless right then and there like in the games, so I'm more nitpicking than complaining. All in all what I've played so far I find rather fun.
Try saving, going back to the menu and loading the game. So far the blank events (although I've only had them for elves so this might be something different) aren't saved, so when you load the save it's fine again.
Seems as if the blank events for Elves go away if you replace W_racial_events.txt with a previous version. ajjr did some ill-advised changes there.

It would make sense to make the faith of Freya work more like the Norse in that the Skelligers don't get a Raised Levy penalty, would it not?
EDIT: Also, the coastal provinces are a bit too large IMHO, I can basically see half of Cintra from one of them.

Most of the sea provinces* down the coast from Cintra all the way to Nilfgaard. I think I understand why they seem so huge - they have to be because the land provinces on the coast are also huge, so making them smaller makes them cover a very small number of provinces.
Aaah ... the ocean provinces. Yes, those are huge. And pretty generic, too. I am fine with a bunch of new sea provinces. If you want them split up go ahead and do it. You were shown how to access the repository a while ago

Being in the user list is not necessary. Everyone can commit stuff there

Is there supposed to be a strait between Cintra and Hindarsfjall?
Also, is Ørnø supposed to be accessible only by boat?

For me it makes most sense to not have a strait from the mainland to Skellige. Invading that place should be hard without any fleet.
You are right, the adjacencies are messed up there. Ørnø can't be accessed and something like Hindarsfjall -> Berjadalsa looks odd (strait adjacency is one province id off).

Seems like ambition "evelop personal combat skills" is broken. Whenever I choose it, it gets auto-cancelled in a few game days.
