BTW, how do you "do" the prisoner stuff? I had a couple last night, and when i went into the diplo of the person I had, i just had the regular options, didnt see anything amazonian

They are in your Intrigue tab under Decisions, just like the Byzantine Blind/Castrate options. To seduce a man, you need to have a male prisoner that is not too old, too ugly, or of your dynasty (along with some other requirements), and you cant be pregnant. To seduce a woman, you have to have the Homosexual trait. To execute a woman, you cant be kind and they cant be of your dynasty.

Nice mod. I played around with it a bit and have a few thoughts:

1) Every time that a title is given to another character the gender law changes to Agnatic. I believe this is some hard-coded oversight from the devs. The other Amazon mod had an event to change Amazon titles to Enatic. I adapted it to your mod because Agnatic Amazons don't make sense. Might be something to look into.

2) What's the reasoning behind ritual suicide at 45? I'm not sure where that fits into the Amazon myths as it seems to indicate that women are of no value if they can't produce children. That would seem to be more of a medieval male idea. From a gameplay perspective, knowing that you are going to be able to kill yourself at a certain age makes it so that every ruler you have can be a tyrant without any consequences and make things easy for the next ruler.

3) It seems that you have locked Amazons into no medium crown authority or below without any way out unless they stop being Amazons. That seems fairly limiting given the way the new levy system works.

4) Could be just be bad luck, but I'm not sure the covert culture job is working. 30+ years of good chancellors in one province did nothing for me.

5) Male dynasty members still ask for a fiefdom of their own to govern.

1. I'll look into that, nice catch.

2. Balance, mostly. It holds no historical or logical reasoning, but with all the advantages playing as an Amazon have (attack almost everyone on the map, have lots of children, etc), I thought it would be good to put in a really bad thing. Your time as a ruler is limited, and you'll need to accomplish things quickly before you reach 45. It also helps to limit the 85 year old supergods with +30 Long Reign bonus from vanilla. In my opinion, it's a nice change of pace, and serves to change up the playing habits of players.

3. Ouch. That's gonna be on my list of things to do.

4. I'm going to look into that and see what I can do.

5. Already fixed in 1.4, just need to extensively test it before it's unleashed to the world.

Can you send me the whole chain so I can try it out? I've got nothing else to do this weekend.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/51cl8a3ccm2uc6a/WhenAmazonsAttack1.4Unfinished.7z

My original version was nothing but is_tiggered_only events called from the hidden_tooltip = { character_event = blahblahblah days = 30} tags. After working on it for two days trying to figure something out, I switched over to triggers, character flags, and MTTH. Still nothing. It's like those events never existed. The ones that are called from character_event = blahblahblah without the days work absolutely fine, though. Hellenic works best for testing, as the shrine decision is 100% finished (but not functional). I removed the wealth requirement of the decision so you don't have to go into the console to fire it. Choosing a shrine is perfectly fine, but nothing happens after that.

I was reading it in the modding questions thread. I am surprised no one has tried helping you despite all the help you seem to offer.

So far the only thing I can think of is trying 15 days instead of 30. Will give it a thorough look, though.

Have the same problem and posted it twice. I have no idea, why it doesnt work...
What's stranger is that the Paradox-made events do work, or at least I assume they do.

I am not seeing any grammatical errors.

How can you set flags for characters? That should do it, right?

1. Event >> flag for the char
2. Event >> not triggerd-only with a mtth with, lets say, 3 days. Trigger is the flag.

BTW: thanks for the new version.

Why dont you also add something like the sunset invasion, but with amazons!

That is the "current" or future system in 1.4. It should work, but sometimes as a coder it isn't about being right, it is about the point. And the point here is why doesn't it work?!

The Celtic Standing Stones event is copied verbatim from the Norse Runestones, with the only changes being to the ID, localisation, and removal of the father option. That doesn't work either.

I'm going to see about removing all other event files and focus entirely on the Hellenic Shrine event and see if there is a conflict. If it starts working again as normal, then there's a weird conflict in the other files. Process of elimination, and all that.

I watch your mode to see how u did with women. I wanted to mod some elements of game for just me... I posted on Modding - Quick questions Topic several days ago, but nobody say anything.
First i need to tell u that my English is not so great. Ok here it goes...

I wanted to create religion where only women can hold Bishoprics and head of Religion is women too.

I modified Fraticelli religion female_temple_holders = yes. Its like with pagans. And i tested and some temple holdings are woman.
But here is the problem... Game automatic choose for Bishoprics Succession Laws to be succ_open_elective or succ_catholic_bishopric (in this situation is succ_catholic_bishopric because i am Fraticelli).
Because this Succession Laws use only agnatic_succession then they can't be only women, and can't elect women for next Bishop.

Can you pls help me how to add just women get this baron tittle and can be elected (Like Catholics or Fraticelli). In other words how to make Fraticelli religion head and Bishopics be only hold by women.

And one more thing if i want to have country with Enatic Succession, can i make whole country only get women heirs for all type of crown (Kings, Duchy, County, Castle barony, City barony, Church barony). But I only want this with Enatic and Bishoprics only with Fraticelli religion.
Don't ask me why i want this. Its just random stuff only for me.
Thx in advance. And keep a good work.

You could always try this:

Code:
	enatic_succession = {

		potential = {
			holder_scope = {
				NOT = { religion_group = muslim }
				NOT = { religion = tengri_pagan_reformed }
				NOT = { religion = tengri_pagan }
				has_horde_culture = no
				is_merchant_republic = no
				is_patrician = no
			}

			is_landless_type_title = no

			OR = {
				AND = {
					tier = baron
					is_feudal = yes
				}
				AND = {
					tier = baron
					is_republic = yes
					is_patrician = no
					is_merchant_republic = no
				}
				AND = {
					tier = baron
					is_theocracy = yes
				}
				holder_scope = {
					OR = {
						is_feudal = yes
						is_republic = yes
						is_merchant_republic = no
						is_patrician = no
					}
				}
			}

			is_primary_type_title = no
		}
		allow = {
			always = yes
		}
		effect = {
			gender_succ = enatic
		}
		revoke_allowed = {
			always = no
		}
	}

It may (no promises) give you only female heirs with baronies, cities, and churches.
As for the Fraticelli... unfortunately I can't do anything. While you can change the requirements to have a succession law, you cant change the succession law itself. Hardcoded.
