[MOD] When Amazons Attack! 1.32

So I have finally gotten back into modding a "major" release since the aborted Kekvit Mod from the days of pre-SoI vanilla on the TotalWar.Org forums. I believe I have everything working in order, but I would like playtesters to try it out. Feedback would be wonderful.

When Amazons Attack!
An completely ahistoric (and not-so-serious) mod designed to take advantage of the Enatic succession law.
By Lockesly L'Crit

The Old Gods required

Features:
* Play as one of three Amazonian Queendoms (Celtic, Valkyrie, or Hellenic) in 867.
* Amazons can attack anyone on the map and capture a single province, provided they are ruled by (or have holdings ruled by) males.
* Unique retinues for each Amazonian culture. Celtic gets Woad Raiders, Valkyries get Shieldmaidens, and Hellenic gets Javelineers. Appropriate culture buildings included.
* Free spawned troops so they survive past their first year, but not enough to be the next Hungry Hungry Hungary. Expand or die.
* Low on children? Husband-thrall not producing enough? Amazonian rulers can have sexytimes with male prisoners in exchange for their release (they will love it too). This also has a chance of removing Stressed from your character.
* Lesbian Amazons can do the same thing to female prisoners, with the added bonus of always being able to remove Stressed. Unintended side effects include the prisoner not liking men anymore after the vigorous session of Hide The Scepter.
* Do you simply not care about a woman in your dungeon? Amazons can execute them for free as a decision, provided they aren't close kin or dynasty members.
* Being simply slaves to your whim, husbands don't care about bastard children. In fact, all your bastard children will be of your dynasty.
* Amazonian woman can do anything a man can do, including joining raiding parties. They can also get a Viking-like trait if they do.
* Amazons prefer swords to quills, thus they cant improve diplomatic relationships with anyone using their chancellor. Instead, chancellors can convert characters or provinces to your culture just like a court chaplain can with religion. Spread the Amazonian ways!
* It's not all fun and games, however. Once a ruler reaches the age of menopause, she is expected to ritually kill herself. Avoid this sacred duty at your own risk. Seriously.
* New minor titles to hand out to your women (and one lucky man).
* Amazonian rulers can divorce their husbands via decision whenever they feel like it for free. On the flip side, Amazon marriages are simply for kids and alliances. You get no free prestige, piety, or gold from them. You also cannot marry anyone except those of Amazonian religions.
* Integration of twiggyt13's No Hassles Vassals mod so you can distribute your holdings (to women!) in a single click.

Changelog:

1.32 - I accidentally the whole birth events.

1.31 - Just some bug fixing

1.3 - Removed the male dynasty opinion modifier for Enatic.
Fixed from localisation issues for religions and divorce.
Amazonian males can no longer have the ambition to get a job.
Integration of No Hassles Vassals.

1.2 - Men can no longer be court priestesses.

1.1 - Fixed a bug for decisions and Expectant.

1.0 - Release

Did a cursory glance.

1) You might want to rewrite the pregnancy event for Amazon cultured characters, it still references "My husband will be pleased".

2) Gotta start thinking about flavor if you want to advance this -- switch the holding icons, change holding names, etc. Also, religious decisions -- something similar to a Norse blot, etc.

3) Priestess is not restricted to only women, apparently -- at the very least, a male courtier was able to petition for the position, and the localization doesn't change.

4) Honestly I would say to drop the initial rulers to Petty Queen/duchess level, and let them create the Queen level title once they hold 3 duchies, if possible.

That's about it for my contributions.

You should have a "snu snu" event that has a base chance of maiming the male characters. "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised."

Thanks for the feedback.

1. Teeeeechnically this is right since a husband is pretty much just a way of increasing family. If he's doing his job, he's happy.

2. This is just the rough framework plus some flavor events and decisions. I plan on adding more stuff later, including blot-like events.

3. Nice catch. I'll fix that.

4. I had thought about that, but I wanted to emulate random tribal kingdoms springing up from nowhere, much like the Seljuks or Khanate.

I'm curious why you don't have a Steppe option, considering the Amazons, in most historical literature I've read, are equated with the tendency of the Scythians/Sarmatians allowing women to go to combat. Either way, I think I might actually try this one out.

Most mods take themselves too seriously. I just want to have fun.

The Hellenic Amazons were originally going to be Scythians, but then I considered their neighbors: the Khazars, the Cumans, and (worst of all) the Magyars. It would not have made for a long-lasting start for the AI. I'll see about working the Scythians in, with a position where they wont get ganked horribly on day one.

Having them in Pontus has them facing the Byzantines, so they will die there too. Perhaps you could give them a random county in the Crimea? That was seen as Scythia as well.

I've seen some wierd stuff in my games. Playing as the Byzantines, I've seen Hungary completely ignore the South and the West and focus entirely on Crimea (including declaring war on me, all for a single county). In my current beta patch Ironman game as the Karens, I've seen Jewish Khazaria not only survive, but come to absolutely dominate the Steppes. And, of course, Cumans gonna Cuman.

I may add in a Scythian Amazon non-coastal nation, but it'll likely be labeled as "hard mode" due to unfriendly neighbors. At least the Hellenics can landgrab someone else and move away if things get feisty (I've seen AI Hellenics landgrab some of Anatolia during the many Byzantine/Muslim wars, so survival is definitely an option)

Might I suggest removing the malus for female ruler/female heir?
edit: or see if it's possible to make the generate new vassal option with wrong holding types make a female vassal instead?
