What is posted above will be the extent of the map in the upcoming release. I'm going to try and get the game decently playable then work on Spain next.

Yes. It took me a while to decide because the mod covers a bunch of different regions/issues but I am relatively settled on "Internal Conflict." Reason being that such a large focus will be on interactions between the Monarchs and their nobility and internal issues within each realm and each realm has plenty of major internal issues going on during this particular point in history.
No Parliaments will be in this release. I had/have to rewrite a lot of things because of some of the changes to modding so priorities have shifted. Over the next week I will post previews of what is and what is not in the release. A lot has changed for sure.

Watched the first episode of Wolf Hall yesterday really refired my excitement for this mod.
I don't think it has been tested - but would not recommend trying until it is out of alpha/beta because once the map is done updates will be fast and furious.
I will be doing a preview of the base economy system which is fairly complex a few days before the release is posted. While it won't have much flavor events in this upcoming release the economy itself is fairly detailed. For example, what you can build is determined by several things: resources available/province size/number of holdings in province/terrain of province/population of province.
Thats pretty awesome, I do have one other question, and then I promise to wait patiently for the preview lol, in the last release if you played as a lord in france, at king/duke tier you were a count, and the King of France/emperor was a Duke, will it be the same, or will it play like the British Lords with cultural titles and the new heraldic naming system?
The naming is much more clean now. I can do a preview for that tomorrow afternoon when I get home from work (or maybe early in the morning) because that aspect is done. In short though, they reflect what they are supposed to be historically.
One more thing, because this is also something ready for release - The italian republics are good to go, and Venice, Genoa, and Siena every patrician starts with at least one province to make it interesting. In Lucca there are only 3 provinces so only 3 of the 5 patricians start with a province.
I ultimately chose to go a different direction with Florence since the Medici were defacto hereditary rulers and it was not a true republic. I have other banking plans for them.
An interesting issue with Genoa is that at this particular time point it was under the control of the Duke of Milan so that could be a fun start as Genoa.

Italy would look funny because I haven't finished getting the nobles in yet. I have Savoy, Milan, Genoa, Venice, Lucca, Sienna, Urbino, and Pope part of Papal State done right now (title holder-wise).
I should note that I am not doing the entire title history for all titles right now because I don't have the time - just focusing on this start date for now. But I am adding claims to families who lost the title via conquest.

But how about the numbering?
Not feasible to do the numbering like before, puts far too much strain on the engine. If you are referring to the vanilla numbering then it is still viewable from the character screen.

I see... so dukes are going to have the numbering like in vanilla?
I don't think I have ever seen as many illegitimate children in any noble house as I have in the House of Trastámara...
