I just think more RP will help as King. Vanilla king tier and above is very annoying to play. I generally tend to play vassals because you have less frustration to deal with in terms of constant claims and kingdom authority rebellions.

Could you maybe show us Scotland and France?
I want to see mechanical change and alot flavor events and decisions.
I d wonder how the four kingdoms are going different from each other in final product.
Now how could some rise a small baron to? If system are going to be so different?
Is this weekend still possible for a release of the next version?
Not for France. Probably for the megawar system and a basic level resource system and a lot of small things and tweaks done a long the way.
Lovely.
Are any of Gars's improvements helping you out at all thus far?
And are you seriously going to include the whole of Western Europe? Wouldn't that barely run, seeing as the British Isles already have loads of provinces, imagine Western Europe with those many provinces!!! It would slow down the game alot, to the point of crashing.
I do wonder how can game be interesting for lonely Baron? Since most of action is going to be going on at the king court trying to be the power on the throne behide it?
Of course could we live peacefully and manage are estate as well without that being boring?
Can't wait for the update! I haven't liked a mod so much since The Prince and the Thane. Bravo![]()
***Tentative, Incomplete Change List For Next Version***
Megawar System: #Huge special thanks to the AGOT Team.
-For civil wars only.
-Earls and Dukes become independent during the war, controlling their own armies.
-Barons (who are direct vassals of the king at the start of the war) either remain under the king or become a vassal of the opponent of the king.
-Traits are added to differentiate the sides (red rose/white rose) and seperate, defining traits for the leaders of each "party."
-opinions decide their side.
-Ability to switch sides (with a cooldown).
-If the current King is losing the war he will send offers to enemy earls/dukes in the form of a bribe (land/gold) to switch to his side.
-Expanded the system for deciding the fates of enemies (post war) and rewarding allies (post war).
Localisation:
-Removed "Castle" and "Manor" from holdings' names.
-This makes the randomly generated dynasties much more tolerable and normal.
Economy:
-A ton of resources added to the game
-Building chains that allow the character to take advantage of the resource
-Possibility of mines running dry/being discovered
-Possibility of over hunting/fishing leading to decreased supplies
-Holding maintenance events (gold sinks)
-Natural disaster events (disease/fires/weather) which have effects on the economic production/demand
Map:
-Fixed various random broken/incorrect provinces
-France is somewhat in game
Laws:
-Tweaked a little bit to bring them up to the times (just a cursory adjustment - more customization to come)
CoAs:
-Lots of additions for randomly generated CoAs
