Cybr, I just noticed something about the Find Love ambition. There are a couple of associated decisions that set character modifiers... that are never used, in the files in LI. Did you ever write events using the interest_in_spouse and interest_in_courtier modifiers?
Persian Portraits? *gasp* CPR update confirmed!Alright, folks, here's a preview of a few of the generic flavor events I've been working on to get back into the groove after my absence. This I think is my largest set of generic flavor events yet, so far I counted 50 not counting the blatant reference referencing chain. You'll get your baklava, your references, your silly mundane stuff, all the VIET goodies.
CPR already works with the Persian Portraits.
Regarding the events: are they for VIET Events rather than Immersion?
Yes, all that cybr posted is for events. Immersion a)will need to be up, running and trimmed properly before we starting writing brand new content; b)Immersion only works in themed updates now (as has been for a while); c)There shall not be a baklava-themed Immersion update!

To be honest I have no idea what they're supposed to be for. When I originally began coding it the Find Love ambition was supposed to be much more complex, so that might be a leftover from that; or, alternatively, I remember I went through several different methods of handling the ambition and related event chain, so that might be a leftover from one of the earlier "drafts." Or I might be remembering this all wrong. I'll look it up.
VIET Events stuff, yes, so you folks will probably see them sooner than later.

Yeah, Persian portraits' assets aren't used yet, but you should still be able to see the Persian portraits DLC like in vanilla in the current version of CPR.
I honestly believe that, if allowed, cybr will push for a baklava mini update interlaced with every Viet themed update. In fact, a lesser known part of my work in VIET involves keeping cybrs urges to make food-related events in check! On this capacity, my best known failure was failing to stop the endless cinnamon avalanche. I am very very sorry.
I don't think it's just food-related events.
Ordep helps keep things in perspective, see. If it weren't for him VIET would've turned into an incomprehensible, pretentious mess of baklava, arrows in the knee, references to obscure anime thingies, post-modern surrealist event chains, and other such things.
Hmm, sounds like we need to care of Ordep then. No one will ever suspect the presence of an archer on the grassy knoll.

We have a few ideas, nothing concrete yet that warrants anything more than the vague answer you see here. We'll discuss them when we come to that point.
(Our main priority at the moment is streamlining VIET, at any rate.)

Germanic paganism, maybe, though if we want to do it it'll be a very low priority. Christian Schism... well, I don't see any way of satisfactorily handling it within VIET's scope, so we're probably not going to touch that.
