Hey OrdepNM, I finished my West African Pagan game of CK2 (which was me hitting Observe mode from 1267 to 1447 cause I got tired of being peaceful and dealing with constant successions due to Seniority

) and I did one last export for it. (the AI kinda fractured my empire but I kinda like how it keeps North Africa and the Iberian Union from blobbing everything)
I noticed the same issue of the Ottomans appearing out of nowhere in Byzantium (being proper Sunni religion this time) and the VIET-specific events not firing. However what else I noticed is that every area that is of West African Pagan religion is Western technology, not Eastern, Ottoman, or Muslim. I do not know why as none of the areas own both Tunis and Timbuktu, however my religion does spread across all of the De Jure Mali, Africa, and Spanish Empires back in CK2 VIET (including Santiago) so that might have done something.
It's quite odd regardless, though again, not at all game-ruining as EU4 runs fine. If you wish I can send you my save for the game if you'd like.
Now I just need to learn how to play EU4 before I give my game a try...
EDIT: Oh, right forgot. I'm using the Events, Traits, and Immersion modules of VIET 1.5.1.1 with the VIET -> EU4 Exporter 1.1.2. Also using Legacy of Rome and Old Gods DLC, along with the Exporter DLC of course. The game did start from a VIET 1.5.1 save which I had to update to 1.5.1.1, if that is important for anything.
