While I'm here, I'd also like to mention that I've more or less completed an overhaul of the VIET religious icons (I basically went back and gave all the ones I made a makeover) and I'll be making those available shortly. I've also continued to freshen up various trait icons and some of those will be ready soon.

If you have the time and interest, we'll need proper icons for a few of the new traits coming in today's HIP release:
-Sympathy for Eastern religions
-Sympathy for Gnostic religions
-Sympathy for Vedic religions
-Wicked Rabbi (Jewish priest)
-Wicked "VIET" priest (for Eastern/Gnostic/Vedic religions, currently one and the same since I am lazy efficient).
Currently the three sympathy traits use the icon of Sympathy for Pagans, Wicked Rabbi uses the Wicked Christian Priest icon, and Wicked "VIET" priest uses the Wicked Zoroastrian Priest icon.
Obviously won't be used today but would be great for the next update.

Yep, I'll definitely be doing up icons for all the new stuff coming in the next version. In fact, if I'm notified of future plans far enough in advance, I can probably start doing a significant amount of the content before releases. Though, of course, I'm not sure suggesting that now with Cyber out of commission does any good.
Anyway, here's a sample of the latest lineup of religious icons:
The Ibadi icon is unchanged, and the Yazidi icon still needs a layer of polish. As soon as I'm done with that, I'll make a download available. Some of the new traits, such as the African descendant traits, are kind of in limbo since I can't ask Cyber exactly what he was going for with the originals. I'll probably just hang onto those until he's back to answer questions, but I might post some samples of current versions later.
You've already got the latest versions, save for the Yazidi icon, but the "polished" version of that one has to be tested in-game because it's a bit funky and I'm not totally sure how it'll look. But once I do figure out the Yazidi icon, I'll make sure to send you updated versions of the ACR sets.
@theStormWeaver: I completely forgot to add in your easter egg characters Its too late now since we're too close to release, but they'll definitely be in the next one. I'm really sorry.
Are norse-gaels still formed by any norse ruler of of a celtic province? Historically/logically, it should be limited to norse rulers of scottish/irish provinces. Norse/Breton should be norman and norse/welsh/cumbrian should be completely incompatible in my opinion.
-The Saxon duchies Mercia, East Anglia, Kent, and Northumberland start with Tanist law
-Changed the availability of Tanist law to jordarkelf's version so it is now the default law for Celts except Bretons, as well as Saxons, before 1150 as long as they're not a king or emperor
Have you changed the localisation for a saxon or welsh/cumbrian tanist? It would make for easy flavor. I'll scour the thread for my last suggestion on that subject.
-Characters can now go blind from a serious head injury during battle
-Characters can now also get Great Pox (syphilis) from their lover or secondary spouse
-Advanced Syphilis can lead to blindness or incapability
-Advanced Leprosy can lead to blindness, deafness, or incapability
-Blinding now removes the traitor and dishonorable modifiers from the victim
Edit:
Saxon tanist should be Aetheling and welsh tanist should be Edling. That would make for some easy flavor (Unless other people have better ideas.)

Besides, I've been holding onto 1.111 and the old (ooollld) versions of VIET and ACR until I finish my Druidic game anyway.
So, I won't be even able to play it for awhile.

Found a few missing things in the HIP release (besides the broken on_actions):
Landed_titles:
-d_varangian_guard lost 'graphical_culture = orthodoxholygfx' so still won't use the DLC units
-d_ghilman lost 'graphical_culture = bektashigfx' so still won't use the DLC units
-Despite picking ARKO as well as VIET, b_cluny uses the vanilla COA and not ARKO's (not sure if that is easily fixable/made modular)
events\VIET_Jewish.txt & events\VIET_Jewish_spawn.txt
-All the instances of 'flag = ai_flag_refuse_conversion' are not there so spawned Jews are susceptible to conversion
decisions\VIET_Z_Customization_Options.txt:
-Conversion rate picker is broken again (opens .31 instead of .39)
So, everyone, today is the day HIP should go live in roughly 1 hour and a half (8/20 CET). Given that, I'd like you to be aware that future versions of VIET will be released as part of HIP, in its own thread, rather than here in this thread, which should be used for discussion, bug reports, previews, etc. For now at least, the customization files for VIET will also be released in this thread (including the patch for PB's No Ahistorical Empires module) tough for future versions that may, or may not change.
For now at least, I'd like to leave you with the changelog for version 1.5.1.2. A big thank you to jordarkelf for this one, as the vast majority of the content are tweaks and additions he had pitched to cybr before his illness and which I got to integrate in VIET. Lots of interesting changes here (and some quite funny!), so take a look:
1.5.1.2 Changelog
-The Norse-Gaels now have cultural buildings and a retinue
-Heretic and religious revolters will no longer fight anyone, just their former liege
-Made Lombard culture playable, including dynasties and historical characters and provinces
-Messianic Jews can now marry most Orthodox Christians and vice versa
-Most muslims can marry African pagans
-Massively improved name linking for many cultures
-The Saxon duchies Mercia, East Anglia, Kent, and Northumberland start with Tanist law
-Characters can now go blind from a serious head injury during battle
-Characters can now also get Great Pox (syphilis) from their lover or secondary spouse
-Advanced Syphilis can lead to blindness or incapability
-Advanced Leprosy can lead to blindness, deafness, or incapability
-Jewish priests can now become "wicked', so can Reformed pagan priests and Zoroastrian heretic priests
-There are now sympathy traits for Gnostic, Eastern, and Vedic religions, complete with events to give them
-Updated jordarkelf's minor title handout decision to the latest version
-The Varangian Guard and Ghilmans now use the Holy Order DLC units if you own the DLC
-Lollards and Waldensians no longer go on Pilgrimages
-You must now be a Norse duke or higher, or the son of a duke or higher, to commission a runestone.
-The Norse AI will no longer bankrupt itself to commission a runestone
-The Norse AI will only hold a blot if he has a prisoner
-Fixed map positioning of a few units and province names
-Gave Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura the proper names on the map
-Changed the availability of Tanist law to jordarkelf's version so it is now the default law for Celts except Bretons, as well as Saxons, before 1150 as long as they're not a king or emperor
-Blinding now removes the traitor and dishonorable modifiers from the victim
-Spawned jews will now refuse to convert to a new religion
-The exilarch (both) are now stuck in primogeniture
-The exilarch will no longer ping-pong between religions if it holds both titles
-The odd cultured spawning shaman is now (hopefully) fixed
-Freshly restored roman emperors will no longer be the "saviors of Constantinople"
-Minor localization error fixed
Dang those do seem like a good deal of changes right there. Will it be safe updating my current game to this version and then exporting it with the current VIET -> EU4 exporter? (once I get all my provinces converted that is. The challenges of expanding so you can reform as a pagan) I mean there is only one way to find out and I plan to test that, just hoping it won't do something insane with my save or such

Heh, I knew I would have missed some of your tweaks, because of the outdated zip and all, was just hoping no one would notice it before I snook them into HIP >_>

That might partly explain the issues with exporting my 1.5.1.1 game for CK2 VIET. Had to update from VIET 1.5.1 because of the 2.0.3 CK2 patch Paradox put up so I didn't really have a choice there. Would that have caused issues for exporting?
Basically it comes down to the only thing Arko changed in landed_titles, he changes the entry for b_cluny so it uses a predetermined COA rather than a random one.

Exporting? To EUIV? Nah.
You just run into issues whenever you use an existing save and at the same time use new traits, since traits are saved in the save file as a number. This depends on load order, so if you get a new trait into the game all existing traits can be messed up unless this new trait loads last.
Okay, new VIET religion icons download is here: Link
Other traits and decision icons download is here: Link
I think that covers all the sympathy and bad priest traits, as well, but let me know if I missed anything. Also, for reference this is the new Left-handed icon:
I've no idea if Cyber will like it better than the original or not, but I included it anyway.

Thanks for clarifying. That would explain why I somehow have both West African Pagan King traits (Descended from a Noble Stranger and Descended from Bilal) and how Perfumer lacks an icon. Not really a big deal
It's ARKO (both) & VIET
