Could someone explain to me exactly how the different types of war checks in the Decisions screen work? Do they actually trigger anything or are they simply a checklist?
On the topic of war, I look at the Decisions and it looks like I meet all the qualifications for a Pagan Subjugation. I am playing as a Tengri and a neighboring is also Tengri. It is also part of my overlord's kingdom. However, I cannot declare war because it says I do not have a valid casus belli. Do I need this as pagan to pagan? If I can't go to war with him can I at least raid him? Does the fact that he is currently helping our common liege in a war with someone else make a difference? The king also has me leading some of his troops. Does that play into this at all?
