Bug report: with PB+VIET (don't know about VIET on its own), the customization option for Conversion Rates instead fires the naming customization for Carpathia.
Another nick suggestion: Having "the Heathen" appear when a ruler is either a different religion to that of his liege.

Known bug, hopefully it'll be fixed in the next version. For now you can access the relevant event by typing "event customization.39" into the console, I think.
If I remember correctly vassals can't get nicknames for some reason, hardcoded thing apparently.

You're thinking about jordarkelf's heresy mod, which used to be part of VIET until I started revamping my religious set up and was too lazy to maintain the code there. I'll probably reintegrate it soon now that jordarkelf has updated it, if I change the code slightly so it only appears in Celtic territory I could see Celtic Christianity being a viable heresy.
Yeah that might work, and would also somewhat fit. There was some conflict between Insular Christianity and the mainstream, so that might be deemed better as a heresy than as a fully different branch.
It'll be easy to change the code of my heresy minimod to make sure this heresy only appears in Celtic lands (and the Bosnian Church only in Croat or Serb lands etc. -- if I weren't solazy busy I'd have already done so).

What about adding, perhaps, "the Indecisive" for someone who converts more than once in their lifetime?
The biggest problem about the whole Cathar and Bogomilist (and in VIET, Bosnian) thing is that one religion can only be a heresy of one faith, whereas Bogumils and Cathars were hunted down by both the Orthodox and Catholic churches. This creates something very confusing where the Orthodox do not see the Cathars as a heresy (despite the Cathars being abnormally similar to the Bogumils) and the Catholics do not see the Bogumils as a heresy (which they did, there was a crusade for Bosnia organised by the Hungarians against the Bogumils).

Ideally they'd scrap the religion and culture groups completely, and make it so that you can set individual affinity or dislike between any two cultures or religions. That way you could make Occitan close to Catalan, Italian, and French; Catalan close to Occitan and Castillian; or on the religious front make Cathar a heresy of Catholicism and a "sister" of Bogomilism; and Bogomilism a heresy of Orthodoxy but a "sister" of Cathar.
But that's likely not going to happen in CK2 as it would require an engine overhaul which is not going to happen. Maybe for CK3.
