It appears that the newest version of CK2+ was released literally a few hours after I released the newest version of VIET, though the differences are relatively small and I'm unsure why it would be causing your issue - I'll try to post a hotfix for that later today, hopefully it'll fix it though.

The problem disappears when I disable the "events" submod in VIET. Hope that helps! :D Also note that REP.60 triggers REP.61 in the CK2+ files.

VIET isn't compatible atm IIRC.

Namespaces use specific event ID ranges the engine reserves, and a lot of Wiz's events use ID ranges that can overlap into that range. I can guarantee you that the VIET namespace probably happens to overlap into them because of that (you can check setup.log, or one of the log files for NAMESPACE and you'll see where it is reserving them)

I'm doing an ironman mode, so I don't want to screw things up. I figure events should be OK, and maybe traits? This is my first play in like a year, and as ever vanilla gets old kinda fast.

I'm doing an ironman mode, so I don't want to screw things up. I figure events should be OK, and maybe traits? This is my first play in like a year, and as ever vanilla gets old kinda fast.
It's Ironman, it's not gonna work.

Ironman doesn't work with the mods (for some reason PI thought that it would be better to link Ironman directly with Achievements than just make Ironman one of prerequisites for Achievements so no Customization allowed -_- )

It's impossible to use events or most other mods in Ironman mode, basically only localisation (text) and graphical mods work without changing the checksum.

If you don't care about ironman, in theory you can apply the mod at any time except for Immersion, because the latter changes the map and landed titles setup. It's best to start a new game.

Hmm... Are we talking about a duke or King tier title for the Serbs/Croats/etc here? Right now it have Grand Prince (or Grand Duchy, I forgot which) for the Russians right now.

EDIT2: Voivode can also be used as a Duke title for Poles.

I used to have that actually but another forumite - a Polish fellow I have a long history with, so he can be trusted - said it wasn't accurate under certain circumstances I can't remember right now.

As others have said ironman mode is pretty much incompatible with most mods. For non-ironman games, the Immersion trait is savegame incompatible, the other two modules will probably work.

The namespace for REP is 1500000. REP.50 deals with the creation of the Hansa in Bremen... which is what I'm being spammed with all the time.
Commenting out line #660 in VIET's on_action.txt gets rid of the problem.

I should note that CK2+'s on_action also has the same event... on Line #423... I'm not sure why VIET has these issues but CK2+ does not.

Therefore, the hotfix to handle this is just to simply comment out line #660 in VIET, this is,

That is very strange indeed. Sometimes I do get random CTDs upon resign, which I assume is just a normal occurrence due to the game acting weird, but nothing to the extent you're getting. Besides happening more to Muslims, does it happen to certain other types of characters?

Not particularly, no. See if you can replicate it with anyone else to the extent that I am/was having. It seems to have tapered off a bit, I just exited as two Muslim Sultans and didn't experience a CTD so maybe it's leveled off somehow.

I'd call it a "Culture/Religion specific mechanic" myself. Celts should not be using succession laws which historically never existed. :glare:

And Scotland changing its succession law to anything other than Ag-Cog Primo after Malcolm III would be wrong too, because that never happened.
Might as well disallow Elective or Gavelkind, since one had never been used and the other hadn't been used in centuries, eh?

Guess it doesn't really matter, I'll just have to remove the restrictions.

I find the color of orthodox faith (and its heresies) awful and glaringly out of place. I think the above is a better color because its more consistent with the staler colors of other faiths, while still being visibly different from faiths (especially slavic and so on).

Not particularly, no. See if you can replicate it with anyone else to the extent that I am/was having. It seems to have tapered off a bit, I just exited as two Muslim Sultans and didn't experience a CTD so maybe it's leveled off somehow.

I'm wondering if maybe your PC just got too excited running the newest version of VIET and is now calming down. Anyhow I'll take note if I start getting CTDs upon resign.

Actually to be honest I like vanilla's orthodox color, I don't like the subdued colors of the other religions because it makes them harder to identify at a glance.

Cybr, given you've yet to make an 'official' VIET update, is CPR incompatible with 2.0? I can start a PB game with CPR, but when I start the clock, the game crashes. Also, Orthodox priests have free-floating hats and clothing.

Hmm... Are we talking about a duke or King tier title for the Serbs/Croats/etc here? Right now it have Grand Prince (or Grand Duchy, I forgot which) for the Russians right now.
Duke title for Serbs and Croats. It's an anglisized translation of Duke in Serbian/Croatian. Might be best if you keep Ban for Croats tho.
