A lot of them might not have been built at the start of the game, but the decision to build cathedrals in certain provinces would be good.

Also, the great mosque of cordoba, and the chuch of the holy sepulchre/dome of the rock in Jerusalem.

I believe the Hagia Sophia is technically supposed to be the first Temple holding in Constantinople. You know, the one that the Ecumenical Patriarchy gets? It's b_hagia_sophia, IIRC. Maybe the building for that should go there.

Good idea, but as a starting ck2 modder I don't really know how to do that yet. I'll look into it later.

Also, the great mosque of cordoba, and the chuch of the holy sepulchre/dome of the rock in Jerusalem.
Done,

I believe the Hagia Sophia is technically supposed to be the first Temple holding in Constantinople. You know, the one that the Ecumenical Patriarchy gets? It's b_hagia_sophia, IIRC. Maybe the building for that should go there.
done (its b_hagiasophia not b_hagia_sophia)

aaaaand done. (Great Pyramid is part of the Necropolis of Memphis)

New version with these additions is up for download in first post.

A few of multi-province structures:

Hadrian's Wall
Offa's Dike
Appian Way

Hmm, interesting. Here are my thoughts:

Hadrian's wall at the start of the old gods start date has been abandoned for 400+ years. This probably means that it is in serious disrepair. So I won't add it as a building (or series of buildings, rather), but I could try and figure out how to make an event to repair it.

Offa's Dyke sounds like a good idea. It's purpose was to defend Mercia from Powys, but I think I will just have it give an increase in fort level for the appropriate provinces.

The Appian Way seems to have only been significant around the year 300 BC, mainly because it allowed the roman armies to retreat and reprovision themselves whereas their barbaric enemies could not, since they lacked a road. I assume that in the time period of CK2 roads were more common, and the appian way no longer represents a military advantage. So I don't think it should be in the game as multi-province structure.

You can expect an update (probably) tomorrow with (at least) Offa's Dyke in it.

Hello Morloran,

Thank you very much! I will gladly make use of / take inspiration from your buildings! With the next update I'll credit you for it in my opening post.

I was not aware that there was a mod that added unique buildings (except for the Game of Thrones one), and I can't find the one you talk of, what mod is it?

Alright, new update is up for download. The number of buildings got doubled in it!
I also added an option to restore the port of carthage as a test. I've simply done this as a constructable building, not an event.

That's just a mod I've made for my personal use, and never published it. But now, if you have the motivation to adapt the .txt, I can help you by providing ideas/files.

Ideas are always welcome, I am very open to them! :)

i Have a few suggestions too:
- Statue of Zeus (Achaia) - bonus morale
- Circus Maximus (Rome) - + income
- Port of Carthage - huge navy increase

I would really apreciate if one or all of these enter the mod :D

In the time period of CK2 all three of these are either destroyed or lost. As I said above in this post, I have added an option to restore the port of Carthage, and I will add an option to restore the Circus Maximus, but I don't think it should be done for the Statue of Zeus.
Here's why: the Statue of zeus itself was missing and the temple it was housed in severely damaged. An option to restore it would not fit CK2 because greek polytheism is not a religion in the game.

Alright, that is it for this update. Enjoy!

  • Europa Universalis IV: Cossacks
  • Crusader Kings II: Conclave
  • Stellaris
  • Stellaris Sign-up
  • Crusader Kings II: Reapers Due
  • Tyranny: Archon Edition
So I basically had a look at some of the wonder mods I use in Civ V and here's a list of suggestions, personally I think that the Parthenon deserves to be in since it was being used continuously since construction.

Pantheon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheon,_Rome)
Abu Simbel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Simbel_temples)
Buddhas of Bamiyan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhas_of_Bamiyan)
Chogza_Zanbil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chogha_Zanbil)
Karnak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karnak)
Minaret of Samarra / Malviya Minaret (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malwiya)
The Sphinx (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Sphinx_of_Giza#Images_over_the_centuries)

Neolithic Wonders (not so sure if these ones are really relevant but that's up to you)
Newgrange (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newgrange)
Ggantija (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ġgantija)
Barnenez (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnenez)
Stonehenge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonehenge)

edit; didn't see you there Bowerer but that makes 2 for Stonehenge then ;)

edit 2; oh, forgot about Chogza-Zanbil that I have no idea if it was buried at the time so it may be rather pointless :D

Sounds awesome. Any chance of HIP compatibility? My personal pet pev is the theodosian walls. They just aren't good enough.

That's a nice list:) Are the "Buddhas" in India? I played the game but never seemed to notice them:( (Even with my obsession of building every wonder possible)
