Patchnotes for SNW-2007n:
- Localisation: Large number of 'WIP' entries updated for techs.
- Setup: Removed the '... Principles' techs for Sensors, Shields, Warp, Impulse and Hull components, simplifying the tech progression.
- Setup: Added various repeatable technologies for worker output (+energy, +minerals etc).
- Setup: Added new techs to increase component and alloy production per pop.
- Setup: Added Borg Temporal Incursion as new Alternate Timeline starting option for players.
- Setup: Even more adjustments have been made to limit the number of 'low priority' techs that will appear in the same option list.
- Events: "Hero ship" events have been removed in advance of a complete overhaul.

- Setup: Good news! Players may now select the number of AI empires present on each map. Major empires will be prioritised to spawn, with others being selected randomly.
- Graphics: Updated Saurian, Gorn, Husnock, Krenim and Wadi flags.
- Graphics: Minor improvements to Avian, Natural Engineer/Physicist/Sociologist, Reptilian, Slow Breeders and Thrifty trait icons.
- Setup: Gorn traits updated. Intimidating trait grants an opinion boost to weak and cowardly species, but increases negative opinion from threat.
