And if we can get the scripted events for the BL invasions, yes, likely the kind that the Horde and Scourge did.

Invasions from outside the map shouldn't be too hard in CK2. You should be able to work something out based off the Sunset Invasion. Maybe you should talk to the team working on After the End, there's 4 separate invader groups in that.

If you do put invasions in, a Horde invasion and possibly random BL invasions in the late game would be excellent. If you want to model the Plague of Undeath as an invasion, I suppose you could, although something based off of one of the zombie apocalypse mods could work as well.

Current design plans:
- If we release 1.0.0, and feel that its really solid, and players like it, and we feel like we want to keep modding, then yes, Kalimdor and even maybe Northrend are possibilities.
- Originally I wanted Monster races to be nonplayable areas that were super dangerous to player realms. Currently though, after hearing how many people were interested in kobold or murloc play, I've gone back to being on the fence about it. If we can create compelling content for it, I'm fine with allowing players to play as monsters if they so choose. Mechanically how they stand in our 0.0.1 version is nearly identical to standard nomads.
- We don't have a specific system for magic just yet but it will likely be tied to events.
Now I'm a bit confused on this project, since you name it Azerothian Kings. Azeroth is the world in which Warcraft takes place, the entire planet to be more precise, this includes Kalimdor and Northrend. If it's called Azerothian Kings, won't Kalimdor and Northrend be a must? If not then it would only be ''Eastern Kingdoms Kings''

Also a little question: Will classes such as Rogue, Mage and so on, be a possibility?

Think of how AGOT is about Westeros and Essos but Essos was only added when the Westerosi side and the most standard mechanics were implemented.

About classes, wer are starting to look into them, yes.

The name Azeroth is actually 3 places, in the Warcraft universe.

The planet, the continent compromising the Eastern Kingdoms and one of the 7 Kingdoms of Man, the Kingdom of Azeroth (otherwise known as the Kingdom of Stormwind).

Here's a thought, perhaps The Empire of Azeroth could be a convincingly canon name for the highest de jure title in the southern-most lands of the Eastern Kingdoms.

Or just ignore it, because confusing. Just a bit of lore injection there :)

I also agree with what the others said about the Elf wedding.

Stormwind/Azeroth was never an Empire of its own.

Wouldn't the highest be the (reformed) Empire of Arathor containing all the human lands?

Alternatively named The Alliance.

With all the Kingdoms as Kingdoms and the sub zones as duchies?

So Empire>Seven Kingdoms (Azeroth, Lordy, Dalaran, Alterac, Kul, Gilneas and Strom)>Westfall, Redridge, Elwynn and so on for each kingdom.

Well to be fair the founding of stormwind marked the end of the arathor empire when the last of thoradin's descendants went there and arathor was renamed stromguarde. Lordaeron technically was never part of arathor, it was just land nobles bought off to form their own realm. and nearing the end gilneas, dalaran. and alterac were more like vassels.

More meant as a reference to uniting all humans back into one empire.

As compared to calling azeroth/stormwind an empire.

In terms of game mechanics, yes, the Kingdom of Stormwind currently falls under the Empire of Arathor. However, pre-destruction the kingdom will probably be refered to as the Kingdom of Azeroth (Stormwind post-destruction).

Additionally, Azeroth is one of our super-regions. Currently of which we have three: Lordaeron, Khaz Modan, Azeroth. Each of which break down into sub-regions very akin to the zones you know in WoW. All of these regions combined form the continent of the Eastern Kingdoms.

But yes, Azeroth refers to the Kingdom, region and planet all at once. THANKS BLIZZ.

The Amani and Vilebranch will fall under the Amani Empire, and the Elven kingdom of QT will probably be their own empire. Regions are just geographical, not de jure claims or anything.

I have not seen either of the first two definitions being used since Warcraft 3 flavor texts.
Not to be that guy but the first intro cinematic to wow (the "Four years have passed since the mortal races banded together and stood united against the might of the burning legion" one) has a map in the background saying Azeroth over Stormwind (and Lordaeron over Lordaeron).

So technically the last time was literally the first moment of WoW.

I think the only empire formed by mens is Arathor, and this only includes the northren kingdoms. But Stromgarde can be the only interested in reforming it, so the kingdoms (Lordaeron, Gilneas, Alterac, Stormwind, Dalaran, etc) should have the decision to form a empire on his own, with their larger expansion of his lands as requirement, and plus prestige, piety, gold, for show the influence they have to can be called a empire. Btw, how the Alliance will be represented? This is, as the names says, a complete alliance between the integrants, but in the game the alliances can be only formed with a marriage, or with relatives.

The Empire of Arathor at this point (War1 - WoW) is an old and ancient thing of long ago. Stromgarde will probably be more concerned with actually get it's own land back than trying to rebuild the empire. The option to reclaim it through de jure means will still be there to players who want to attempt that (oh lord would it ever be difficult) but we plan to leave the "Create Custom Empire" option available to players who are large enough to form one. Given that there isn't any basis in canon for any human Empire aside from Arathor, in this case it's best left to the player to create their own story. We're using the canonical stuff to lay the foundation of each era/bookmark and then letting the player forge their own stories from there (within reason).

As far as Alliances go, we're looking into solutions that function similar how defensive pacts work without the "defensive only" aspect. So likely decision based Alliances based from certain criteria. Marriage alliances are still viable as well. We're still toying around with concepts for now.

But yes, Azeroth refers to the Kingdom, region and planet all at once. THANKS BLIZZ.

Not at all. It has been retconned quite long ago. Kingdom has always been called Stormwind (if you don´t trust me, read the Chronicle).
