So you can't post an image of something that you have already done because you are working on something new?
More like my time is limited and due to a bunch of changes I've already made I'd need to probably debug the event in the first place before I could screenshot it since CK2 is a finnicky thing and an error in one file can break stuff in a bunch of unrelated ones.

Compatibility work requires going over all the old stuff to see if anything needs to be changed. It's not "somthing new". I wish it was.

At the end of the day, modding is a hobby and the moment people start demanding you do things is the moment you feel like saying "screw it" and head off to do something else.

Calm down. Take a few deep breaths. Then realize what you sound like making demands on people working for free so that you can enjoy the end product.

It's like Dwarfnator said: If you simply must have it earlier, you have to help out some. If you can't help but rail at the (part time, volunteer) devs for updates, then you'll only make them bitter and turn the mod into vaporware. Chill out and do some yoga/smoke a bowl/take a nap.

He *could*, but he prefers to spend his time in some other way (e.g. actually modding), which is of course entirely within his rights. Please respect that, you are not entitled to free work from him.

+1 it is hugely demotivating when people start being demanding things about a mod you are doing. Mods are, after all, works of passion, and people nagging you to do this or that only serves to diminish that passion.

Yeah, and they should keep being an impassioned fan. They should also not be a crying child, complaining at the mod team because they don't give them information on demand. The former can help, the latter hurts.

I mean, the general rule of thumb/joke with mods is that every time you ask when the release date is it gets pushed back another day (or week, or month) for a reason.

Mod looking great btw, just wondering if multiplayer will be playable?

I'm not a member of the mod team, so take this with a grain of salt, but my experience with large overhauls and MP is that they are very hit or miss. Some people has no problem with MP, while others desync constantly and can't play MP with the mod. Sometimes it's consistent, sometimes an update will make it worse for some people, sometimes make it better, sometimes bork it up entirely. Just be prepared for it to not work great in MP, but it'll still be worth a shot if you, and your group, have some patience.

I frankly have no idea if MP will be viable or not. I hope so, but the more complex systems a mod has, the greater the chance for desyncs to ruin everything.

Zsrai has the gist of it. It's the sort of thing that we'll only know if it works once we're about ready to do a release... and even then anything that is added after that can break the MP.

Now that holy fury has been out for some time, have you guys gotten an opportunity to see how compatible it is with the work done so far? And do you know if you'll be able to build upon it's features, or at least have them as they work now, in the mod?
