I just got an important battle won, as Harold Godwinson, I was helping Scotland in a war and the event telling about William vs Harold fires. Is it supposed to be a general war event or was it supposed to fire when I was at war with William?

EDIT: Because I'm now Stressed, wounded, sick with camp fever, oh dear god

All war events should be general. The Important battle event is on a battle won pulse, so nothing should be wrong with that.

Ah, Harold was a beast at martial in my game before he died. 24 martial after that battle.

Battle-hardened commander should have the chance to improve their martial skill. I mean if you suck/lose it will go down likewise, that's the fun of it.

EDIT: Also I feel for Harold, he was king of England then he took an arrow in the eye..

I solved it!

I opened 00_traits.txt in notepad++ and apparently you had put in some invisible characters that divided the text (I think that was why anyhow), at any rate I've uploaded a working version of the one from the mod:

Thanks, can you tell me exactly where the error is, because I changed more than a couple things in that file for next version and I wouldn't wanna do that again.

They should be a bit longer than vanilla, are they too long you guys think?
Yeah, the siege time should certainly get nerfed. Besieging a castle for more than a year at the start of the game, or a small abbey (1.0 fortification) for a half of a year, its just ridiculous and unrealistic. Im just wondering and fear, how much time would it take for my ruler to conquer a bit more advanced, build up province. Half a life?

Lol I'll tweak it.

Thanks, can you tell me exactly where the error is, because I changed more than a couple things in that file for next version and I wouldn't wanna do that again.

It seems I was premature, the reason it was fixed was because of the early part of the file that remained vanilla. The stuff I fixed was cosmetic and not a problem for the game (using mutiple spaces instead of tab).

Looking through the vanilla part I discovered one oversight you made:
You removed "leadership_traits = 2" from the martial traits (this one was from "brilliant_strategist".

It seems the number given is the amount of random martial traits given. I tested it and it seems to work just fine.

Is this supposed to happen? Female Barons? She's even Catholic, not even Pagan or something.

What is the domain limit on the Incompetant Ruler effect on provinces? Over one it seems. A bit harsh, no?

Yeah it's not meant to be so strict, I messed up the calculations.
