Bug I noticed - Milan is an Archbishopric in 1277 when the Visconti first come into power. Should be fixed for next version. :)

A lot of Italian counties seem to be bugged somewhat in later start dates. Counties with noble families (like Padova) are unplayable because they are apparently republics? Not sure what the deal is there. Something to investigate.

So I am starting to get some CB errors with my Sicily file.
Example A: Pisa has two territories in North Africa, I fabricate claims for them and go to war, immediately the notification comes up: War has Ended Inconclusively (CB no longer valid)
Example B: The Fatamid Caliph declares Holy War upon me, the war, once more, ends inconclusively due to the CB no longer being valid. The AI has declared war on me 4 times now and the war ends the moment he declares war because the CB becomes immediately invalid.

So I am not sure why theses errors keep coming up.

And I am curious, are you not allowed to declare Holy Wars for a period of time after Crusades? Cause I can't declare Holy War on anyone, yet I have over 2,000 piety.

Edit: Seems to be only for the my Sicily file. So it could have so sort of save corruption mayhaps.

I want to press my wife's claim on France. She has a weak claim, and france is in a regency but the option to use that claim does not show up? Any suggestions why?

It may be WAD, as Italy was full of small republics/communes later in this period.

There's an event wherein a friend asks for help in training his falcon, but it's botched. The last option (I will show you all my tricks or something like that) doesn't link to the correct person. For me it reference my wife, so she became by friend instead... The followup event of her taking all the credit linked to my wife too.

I will fix the milan bug, anyhow the counties are WAD, basically it's all communes but their rulers changed almost yearly or they were even ruled by a council of people, so I gave them no predefined ruler, but they wouldn't be playable anyways as they are republics but not merchant ones.

Agnatic title all of a sudden?

What do you mean?

Can you give me a desc or the event id? It's hard to find it this way.

Ohhh one more thing, why am I called Sun King now?

Because you shine.

Is the latest version stable enough to play? I've heard of some crashes being had?

It should be stable enough, other than the vanilla crash issue.

As far as I'm aware its as stable as vanilla, but there are a couple of problems in vanilla that cause crashes

Idib did you get my message?

Yeah I just replied.

I will fix the milan bug

Milan was a republic. That there's an archbishop doesn't mean he holds absolute power. Milan was never a territorial archbishopric. Before the Visconti came to power, Milan was a republic in which the Archbishop had a prominent position, but he was by no means the nominal ruler of the city.

***

Any plans for a similar system of families and patricians from Merchant Republics into regular republics? Rome and Avignon would make fine candidates for non-merchant republics.

The problem is that in this case it's actually a bug, since it comes from the vanilla castle of monza being assigned to the ruling character of milan, whereas such barony with swmh is a temple.
