I've noticed that decisions like Make a Royal Entry, Issue the Forest Charter and so forth are coming up again and again. The Forest Charter is able to be clicked indefinitely so long as you have the money for it. The Royal Entry comes back every 10 years or so, this might be WAD, but it seems strange to be giving players almost free prestige and piety for just some money.

Maybe these kinds of events need a flag "Has not made a Royal Entry" or "Has not issued the Forest Charter," etc, to stop the notification spam or the prestige spam.

Oh, and I didn't catch a screenshot of it, but one of my nobles was able to host a tournament from my jail cell. Maybe an Is Not a Prisoner flag would be smart?

You're right, I'll fix it for next version. I'll also allow a Royal Entry every 20 years instead of every 10 as it is now.

Well that's the point of being a templar, it's not supposed to be a picnic in the holy land, anyhow I'll reduce the mtth of the going home event, and disable the events and decisions I forgot to disable when you are a templar.

The portraits one appears to be a vanilla bug, or at least so I've been told. The interface looks fine, plus its all things I haven't really touched. Anyhow I'll look into it (for the 10th time probably :D )

I dont know, i never encountered that bug, not in vanilla nor in the previous versions of your mod.

Well I typed out a big long post only for it to be deleted due to logging out from timing out. So I'm going to condense it as best as I can. Great mod btw, just had the golden horde come, and I'm playing as pagan Wendland in a multiplayer game.

Before I formed the kingdom of Wendland title, I formed the king title Hochmeister of the Hanseatic League. I owned duchy of Lubeck, Pommerania, and Mecklenberg. WAD?

For the Brilliant Strategist, there is some sort of invisible event that fires that lowers base Marshal. I'm not talking about poor vs formidable fighter, I'm talking about your base marshal. I know there is an event, at least for my Midas Touched king who ruled previous, that allowed a base marshal increase with successful battles. This came with an alert, however, and doesn't seem to affect Brilliant Strategist leaders. The base marshal decrease comes with no alert, and does not seem to affect any other learning trait as far as I can see.


Holy Orders are OP in defensive wars against Pagans. You basically have to wait for your target to be on an offensive war so it can't hire a holy order, before you declare war. I typed out a huge thing proving it, but it got deleted. Long story short it needs to be fixed. Here are a few suggestions:

1) Make it so you can only have 1 holy order hired at a time. This would disallow unbeatable 20k Holy order death stacks, and would also allow some holy orders for other nations. While a nation would probably cycle through holy order after holy order, one at a time is a lot easier to deal with then all at once. (Although it takes almost 3 to 1 outnumbering to defeat a holy order as pagan)

2) Make it so only the Teutonic Order can be used against pagans. Not sure if this could be coded.

3) Make some way for pagans to get pikemen (whom I believe counter Heavy Cavalry, although I'm not certain). Whether through buildings or pagan holy order.

4) Drastically decrease the reinforcement rate of Holy Orders. With the new nerfed levy reinforcement rate, the Holy Orders are just plain ridiculous.


Crown Authority seems to have almost no trouble traveling up to absolute in the HRE. This is really ridiculous considering the HRE was for the most part splintered with what would be considered autonomous vassals for most of its time inside the CKII timeframe.

We have expelled all Jews from NO_KEY_NAME_FOR_PROVINCE. This message sometimes plays, and does not expel the Jews. Allowing you to continue extorting them.

Relic Hunter, Quest for the Holy grail, and various other missions involving catholic god fire for pagans. WAD?

The province directly to the west of the island between Finland and Sweden appears to cause CTD upon capture or even selecting the province. As reported before, one of the sea tiles between Finland and Sweden depicts ships inside of Poland.

Allies appear not to get friendly supply limit bonuses, making helping out your Finnish ally very difficult. The enemy has higher supply limit because hes at war, your Finnish Ally has high supply because it's his own provinces, but you get nothing and will attrition out quickly, as if you had your troops standing in a neutral county.

There is no way to generate religious Moral authority as a pagan, and the entire religious part of the game is pretty much unused for the most part by pagans.

It is a great mod though, very enjoyable!

Just out of interest what files do you need to edit in order to change cultural/kingdom based titles. ie: Where would I go to enter a title for a Polish emperor as they're just titled "King"?

I pretty much agree with your post the only thing (and I always play as pagan) I disagree with is to only have the Teutonic order against Pagans this seems too restrictive. One thing any pagan religion needs is their own "Holy Order" someone who is distinct from the other pagan religions. This is a lot of work to implement for each religion I am aware but would definitely increase playing as a pagan tremendously. In every religion someone you can hire for piety could be cool. For the Norse pagans it could be bands of people ready to go an Viking or raiding parties if you will there are famous Viking bands that could be used. I am not that familiar with the other pagan religions but I am sure they all have legends of their own.
In the matter of pikemen I also think that they should be available for all cultures they were already introduced at a much earlier date and people with long sticks are not that hard to produce.

The cultural is in the title-nomenklature as is the the special titles(like that empire) the one you are looking for is called is "EP" at line 71

A minor thing I noticed: The event with the hole to hell (put stones, cows or a child in it) fired ... was it three or four times within a timespan of. Lets say 10 years. Is this normal? :)

Just thought I'd mention it in case it was unintended behavior.

[MOD] "Basilica Tribuo"- A religion overhaul mod this one is definitely worth a look for this mod It would be cool to have such flavour for all the religions. Maybe having this integrated or compatible would be a good idea?

Quick question:

Bar rampaging through my family tree, are there any quick-and-painless ways of seeing what family member(s) have been beatified?

Edit: Neeeevermind. I saw the modifier but couldn't find the bloody family member. Turns out that the modifier came before the canonization event chain.

Well I typed out a big long post only for it to be deleted due to logging out from timing out. So I'm going to condense it as best as I can. Great mod btw, just had the golden horde come, and I'm playing as pagan Wendland in a multiplayer game.

Before I formed the kingdom of Wendland title, I formed the king title Hochmeister of the Hanseatic League. I owned duchy of Lubeck, Pommerania, and Mecklenberg. WAD?

For the Brilliant Strategist, there is some sort of invisible event that fires that lowers base Marshal. I'm not talking about poor vs formidable fighter, I'm talking about your base marshal. I know there is an event, at least for my Midas Touched king who ruled previous, that allowed a base marshal increase with successful battles. This came with an alert, however, and doesn't seem to affect Brilliant Strategist leaders. The base marshal decrease comes with no alert, and does not seem to affect any other learning trait as far as I can see.


Holy Orders are OP in defensive wars against Pagans. You basically have to wait for your target to be on an offensive war so it can't hire a holy order, before you declare war. I typed out a huge thing proving it, but it got deleted. Long story short it needs to be fixed. Here are a few suggestions:

1) Make it so you can only have 1 holy order hired at a time. This would disallow unbeatable 20k Holy order death stacks, and would also allow some holy orders for other nations. While a nation would probably cycle through holy order after holy order, one at a time is a lot easier to deal with then all at once. (Although it takes almost 3 to 1 outnumbering to defeat a holy order as pagan)

2) Make it so only the Teutonic Order can be used against pagans. Not sure if this could be coded.

3) Make some way for pagans to get pikemen (whom I believe counter Heavy Cavalry, although I'm not certain). Whether through buildings or pagan holy order.

4) Drastically decrease the reinforcement rate of Holy Orders. With the new nerfed levy reinforcement rate, the Holy Orders are just plain ridiculous.


Crown Authority seems to have almost no trouble traveling up to absolute in the HRE. This is really ridiculous considering the HRE was for the most part splintered with what would be considered autonomous vassals for most of its time inside the CKII timeframe.

We have expelled all Jews from NO_KEY_NAME_FOR_PROVINCE. This message sometimes plays, and does not expel the Jews. Allowing you to continue extorting them.

Relic Hunter, Quest for the Holy grail, and various other missions involving catholic god fire for pagans. WAD?

The province directly to the west of the island between Finland and Sweden appears to cause CTD upon capture or even selecting the province. As reported before, one of the sea tiles between Finland and Sweden depicts ships inside of Poland.

Allies appear not to get friendly supply limit bonuses, making helping out your Finnish ally very difficult. The enemy has higher supply limit because hes at war, your Finnish Ally has high supply because it's his own provinces, but you get nothing and will attrition out quickly, as if you had your troops standing in a neutral county.

There is no way to generate religious Moral authority as a pagan, and the entire religious part of the game is pretty much unused for the most part by pagans.

It is a great mod though, very enjoyable!

Thanks for the extensive feedback. Most of those things are already fixed/improved for next version, and I'll see what I can do about the rest. Unfortunately I cannot limit holy orders and such, so that's gonna have to stay that way.

A minor thing I noticed: The event with the hole to hell (put stones, cows or a child in it) fired ... was it three or four times within a timespan of. Lets say 10 years. Is this normal? :)

Just thought I'd mention it in case it was unintended behavior.

It's just a fluke, I didn't touch those events. Thanks for reporting it tho.

[MOD] "Basilica Tribuo"- A religion overhaul mod this one is definitely worth a look for this mod It would be cool to have such flavour for all the religions. Maybe having this integrated or compatible would be a good idea?

I already have some features that the mod covers, but I'll look into it.

Perhaps the Norse mod could be implemented :p

I'll see what can be done about that, obviously as long as Aspie is okay with me integrating his mod.

The cultural is in the title-nomenklature as is the the special titles(like that empire) the one you are looking for is called is "EP" at line 71

Ok found where the file was (In localisation) now the weird part is there is emperor titles there for the Polish, but yet it's still refers to my Polish emperor as King, is that entry in line 71 only reference polish emperors or others too?

One of his children probably got an event chain. The Pope will send one of 'em a letter telling them that their deceased parent is eligible for beatification. Provided relations with the Pope are high, the deceased is beatified and is there-on referenced as 'The Blessed.'

I dunno if the event prioritized landed children or what, but I got mine as the fourth child of the Queen of Denmark (he was her successor, so he was King.)

By the way, what happened to all the old CoA options? I know there are 300+ now as opposed to 240+ in 1.07, but a lot of those older ones, which I thought were very clean and aesthetically pleasing, are now missing in the ruler designer.
