I think you hit the nail on its head with the flatmap design. I would suggest using that design for the rest of the UI as that is a bit lacking and chaotic. I love the Copper(Bronze) sea!!

Havent played it yet but just started the game and looked around a bit. So I cant tell you much about the game mechanics. I will give you some feedback once I have played it.

This has to be one of the best mods I've seen for any Paradox game ever. The religion system (far better than any other, including vanilla), the blue UI style, the gorgeous top map style (especially with the WIP mapmodes)...it is just amazing. :D

v0.4.1 has been uploaded and is save game compatible and includes many fixes, some big some small and some balance changes as well.

Some of the fixes/changes:
- Fixed a special circumstance that could create an unfinishable 5/4 stages pyramid.
- Nerfed Assault quite significantly, let me know how this feels now.
- Barbarians have been greatly reduced in their max strength, an example Nubian stack went from 28 to 8. Let me know if they are too small now or if you still encounter large stacks.
- Impossible to complete farming settlements mission, should now ignore cities and cap at a max amount of needed buildings.
- Pops should now have base assimilation speed (except for Tribesmen still)
- Added conversion decisions so you can now properly be able to migrate into Egypt and found a new Egyptian Dynasty as whatever culture you want.
- Adjusted Migratory groups revolt, might make them less likely to instantly surrender. Will probably need further fixing. Might make it into a normal war instead of a civil war with them trying to claim some province.
- Men-nefer is now as intended a Client State of Henen-nesut.
- Egyptian Players no longer gains free claims on all of Egypt. - Fixed unclickable recommended nations.
- And probably more I can't remember

I am loving my Waset campaing, I think the OP did such an amazing job on this mod!

I wish to repport a bug/exploit. During the mission the pear of Egypt you can change the trade good of a province to horses for 800 gold. It is weird because horses were introduced in egyp only about a thousand of years into the game, it is also supe overpowered since no one else in Egypt have horses.

v0.4.2 has now been uploaded and is also save game compatible but some of the changes are not retroactive.
Changes:
- Biggest change, Migratory Revolts are no longer civil wars but normal wars. Civil wars was acting very strangely and sometimes the AI just surrender for no reason apparent to me. This should both be more enjoyable to actually play against (No game over) and be stable.
- Nerfed Temple Bureaucracy Religious Tradition as it was just way over the top.
- Fixed several cases of missing localization.
- When a country gets annexed it doesn't always just add a flat 25 migration pressure but instead small nations add just 5. This should be very significant in regions with very small nations like Greece where the migration pressure generation could get quite crazy. (Couldn't scale it based on amount of owned provinces due to some limitations and not worth the effort to work around them).
- Removed debug mapmodes that weren't meant to be shown (Sorry if you found Naval Range useful, could be readded later with icons and such).
- Dynastic Age now has a smaller impact upon the Dynastic Prestige based on some reports of people having issue keeping the value up. Let me know how the value feels now, in general could use a lot more feedback on how Dynastic Prestige plays and the impact from Funerary Sites.
- Helladic culture is now called Pelasgian so that they are not confused to be Hellenic.
- Port City building now renamed Harbour to hopefully not give the impression you can actually build a Port. (Not possible to mod in afaik).
- Fixed error with null religion that was driving me insane.

@dasvira Oh good find, I'll fix that for the next update hopefully
@Stars_and_Bars I'll take a look, hopefully v0.4.2 fixed this.

That's just a holdover from the vanilla mission chain where you can do the same thing.

v0.4.2b has now been uploaded and is also save game compatible.
Changes:
- Migratory Groups revolt should now not exile all armies in the province they take over. Any unit standing in the provincial capital still does get exiled but now starts at full morale and so can much sooner return to the fray.
- Tribesmen now no longer has large negative assimilation/conversion meant to block those from happening. This caused a situation where provinces could get "locked" and unable to do any assimilation/conversion. It should now go very slowly instead and higher ranked religions should still be able to achieve conversion.
- The Farming Settlements missions highlight should now been fixed and highlights the proper potential places to build farms or in some cases plantations. Hopefully this means the mission works as intended now.

Also I noted the following bugs/improvements
- can't colonize some islands, is sea-zone neighbour disabled?
- last row in tradewindow is hidden, can it be made a row higher?
- I had wished to play Mycene but it was uncolonized, could you add it? if you have to reduce the number of staring communities to make it fit.
- as others (and yourself) noted there is little trade at start, if we presume that the cities started in the best positions you could add an extra starting resource to 2-3 communities for each nation.
- it would be nice if some of the events add a goto nation/province/community (the eye top left) and/or a mouse hint on the nation/province/community

Maybe not the crash error but some community has no religion, 90% of all the errors.

@tsf4 Hey saw your report before and didn't see any issue with the code also knowing it does update under normal circumstances. On a second look through now I realized I made it so it only updates the religion if the rankings has changed. Made it now so that it will update when you convert and when new migratory countries are formed. Also found an error where it takes an extra year for it to update.

@Surt Currently islands and isolated oases require using the Unit Ability Trading Post unlocked through the Trading Posts law. I'll look into the tradewindow and see if I can add some more goto buttons.

Yeah that was a common bug before from the new migratory revolts but I fixed main cause. As it seems it can rarely appear now I've added extrta precautions to avoid this. Hopefully it never happens now. (Found it was possible in rare cases where a province has 0 population).

v0.4.3 has now been uploaded and is also save game compatible but will need to start a new game for some changes to apply like trade goods.

Changes:
- Naval Raiding is now available from Pirate Heritage (thanks for the idea Littlepage)
- Added food effects to Local Autonomy Governor Policy that increases the food output but massively lowers the output and food capacity of the province.
- Freemen have been renamed to Farmers
- Changed several cases where food trade goods were in improper terrain like Grain in Mountain (Thanks Littlepage for finding so many!)
- Ruler now loses the Modest trait if they select a Massive Pyramid to be built. Small flavor, thanks whoever recommended that
- Additional sources of Fine Stone has been added in the eastern part of Middle Egypt.
- Pearl of X mission to import/produce Olives/Wood now expanded to also include Papyrus and Fine Stone to make the mission more realistically completable in Egypt.
- Annexing a Migratory Revolt now removes 10 aggressive expansion.
- Added extra precaution to make sure that now 100% Pyramids can't under rare circumstances be uncompletable. (Fingers crossed).
- Added 4 Pirate hubs to Egypt and Red Sea area.
- Pearl of X Farming mission should now be completable even with plantations. (Please be fixed already)
- Made improvements to the updating of Religious Rank modifier to update 1 year sooner and also update when you convert religion.
- Added new temporary loading screen and main menu until @Sloth make some brand new ones!
- Farms now buildable in Marshes with Vegetables or Livestock
- Added tooltip to notify the player that Harbour buildings in non-provincial capitals don't provide the import bonus (a bit janky, I know)
- And various smaller fixes

This has got to be the best mod I've played in a pardox game, and its only version 0.4. Hope to see it finished to 1.0, that be amazing.

I really love the pyramid building feature down in egypt. Probably one of my favorite features actually. It reminds me of playing one of that old pharaoh game or that similar one that was 3d and kinda based on pharaoh (forgot name of it and too lazy to look :p). Where you have longterm projects to focus on which require a lot of time/effort/resources. Thats a really unique feature.

@AnExplorer Hey thanks a lot! It has taken so, so much time and effort over the last 10 months and it is quite rewarding to know that the work is appreciated:)
And there is still so much to improve and of course a large part of the map to add and a large source of motivation has been the drive to see that additional leap with a big update.

Changes:
- Newly built Pyramids and Grand Mortuary Temples now show up on the map! (3 Large Pyramids for each one but 1 Mortuary Temple when the first one is built) models made by @ MattTheLegoman
I didn't have time to test this in a natural setting (as would take hours) so let me know if this doesn't work properly, though it should.
- Many new formables made by some great people in the community.
Phrygia, Phoenicia and Mitanni by @ Fedor
Karkisa, Lukka, Seha, Wilusa, Tarhuntassa and Lydia by @ Littlepage
- Tribals should now also be able to inter rulers for non-Egyptians
- Dynastic Prestige tooltip has been changed to make clear that the increase from age is from it being young.
- Mines can now be built in provinces with Natron as was intended
- Countries created by Migratory Revolts now also get a short term boost to assimilation and conversion
- Egypt formable now also gets some bonuses from being formed (it appeared lazy in comparison to the new ones :p)
- Possibly found a fix to the issue that sometimes caused specifically provinces with cities in them to become unowned. The reason is a bit of a mystery so do let me know if you still see this.
- Holdings in the province should now slow down demotion and promotion speed, slightly helping with keeping slaves from doing either.
- The AI should now only pick the Local Autonomy Governor Policy in a Province where either the food or loyalty is low
- And some smaller localization fixes as always
