Do you guys have a list of all the religions you've added and their features somewhere (and changes to existing religions?). It'd make it easier to choose between religions in RD (religions don't have tooltips in RD).

The religions have been added to EMF, not SWMH. And i would advice you to start by taking a look at the Zeus6 release thread. That's the closest to a compiled list we have on the Forum, as far as i remember

Question about Du Juris? Asturias has a DJ? its a Titular tile right? what's the different between Asturias and Leon? They are "Rey" titles in game . In Vanilla when you create Leon Asturias goes away in HIP it doesn't now my Realm is going to spilt over a Titular Title and not knowing that I assumed it would be Like Vanilla. Now I have to start over and change secession laws and destroy Asturias before Creating Leon?

Are there any plans to strengthen the Emirate of Crete in the 867 bookmark? Historically the "pirate state" was a massive thorn in the side of the Romans and caused severe damage to it through constant raiding and the sacking of cities like Athens. Is there any way this could be reflected ingame? The Byzantines are fun as hell to play as but they need more threats, and a two county Crete emirate poses little danger at all. Historically they conquered a few other Aegean islands so perhaps they could be given some other islands, a larger fleet and the ability to raid? Just spitballing here.

Well without Naval combat, it's really hard to portray why the Emirate of Crete was a thorn in the Byzantines side. Their strength was never in their army, they never managed to hold any of the Aegean islands for more than brief periods while they sacked them. They were basically pirates, relying on their ships. So they really need Naval combat to function properly

One of those fun little bits of history. When the ruler of Asturias in 867 died historically (Alfonso III "The Great"), his kingdom split into three- Asturias, Leon, and Galicia. When it re-merged, the Kingdom of Asturias title became defunct and was dissolved. In 1065 the thing divided again, into Galicia, Leon, and Castille. When it re-merged, the Kingdom of Galicia title became defunct and was dissolved. Leon, too, eventually ceased to be a title, though not after a few more divisions.

To me, it seems that it makes sense that in 867 the King of Asturias should be the king of Leon, Galicia, and Asturias. Castille should not be able to be formed if you hold the Asturias title. That should be enough to make it historical. I forget whether there is an event to destroy the Asturias title, but I do know that there is one for Galicia. Of course, this all requires that the Reconquista doesn't just destroy Asturias outright, but that's no longer in SWMH's scope.

Kind of what I thought. Asturias title is from the old Visigoth Kingdom before Christians had to " Have Reason for War " Cause Belly. That's why It would be Defunct and why you would want to upgrade to Leon asap. Then Eventually grabbing the Title " Kingdom of Castillo to hold on to the north. . Then Re-Conquer the South merge all Together into a Unifying Title Kingdom of Spain.
Kind of of the same with England. Northumberland, Mercia , and Weseax. The unifying Title being Kingdom of England.(Whales would still be Principality and be valued all they to this day and age)
Kingdom of France the same way. Aquitaine, Burgundy, West Francie, Brittany. Austria would remain Principality. I think you get my point. Others Kingdoms have similar History's.

Jarnbernaland Should be de jure Uppland/Svitjod instead of Helsingsland.

Småland in 867 should be several chiefdoms instead of a singel Kingdom.

867 Gardar Svavarsson did not stay on Island in 863 (Unlike Ingolf Arnarsson in 870) and should be replaced with Ingolf Arnarsons brother-in-law Hjörleifr Hródmarsson.

hi guys,

I have an issue playing hungary. my first war with the Bulgarians won, Almos immediately becomes king, which is not historical. then I cannot start more than 1 war regarding invasion of hungary, I can only do the smaller pace de jure claims. Provinces do not turn Hungarian, which is another issue.

I was thinking maybe you guys could help me go around this? Where could I mod how cultures change after a won invasion, where could I mod that I can start more invasions?

Alternatively, how could I just install the beautiful map and otherwise not touch HIP (especially the balance modul, which I think causes the problem)

thx a lot guys for any comments, I truly would appreciate it

All of this is in the scope of EMF and not SWMH. SWMH w/o EMF has a far worse Magyar setup, frankly. Sadly, as I've detailed many times before on these forums, modeling the special snowflake Magyar migration and their complex interrelationships with the other states on the steppes and the balkans as well as their influence on Europe proper until 955 is simply way beyond the scope of what can be done in this game, so it will never be very good, frankly.

That said, I'm sticking "magyar melting pot" and "continued conquest CB for the magyars" on my List for EMF (ok, the latter was already there in very great detail).

UPDATE: After some internal discussion between @Rylock and I (again, EMF guys), we have decided to put a 'Better Magyars' project on the EMF near-term agenda.

Planning has begun -- with some 10+ different points about what's wrong with the Paradox Magyar representation as well as EMF's attempt to at least make them sane if not historical currently, focus being upon things about which we can pragmatically have a positive effect given game constraints through a, dare I say, clever and altogether different approach to the problem of their representation from 867 through 955.

That said, we're not yet ready to discuss anything further about those plans with the community until we've at least gone through a couple iterations upon a formal plan to address this classic CK2 problem. If we do become ready, it's possible that we may update the community on our plans so that feedback can be collected before fully diving into implementation. However, such open discussions do have a cost for us, so this is not at all guaranteed.

Tagging @markovszky since he brought this up in this thread most recently.
