SWMH is fully compatible with Vanilla without any other Modules of course. Just like all other parts of HIP

It is worth nothing that there are a few things which you may expect to be vanilla-like in gameplay on standalone SWMH (SWMH installed with no other HIP modules-- not EMF, specifically). The different properties of the map make various vanilla mechanics like vassal limit and such behave very differently than vanilla, and SWMH still uses vanilla defines (with a small exception). We've got it to the point where nothing should be outright broken, but the EMF+SWMH compatch specifically treats for these aspects of making SWMH more playable at this time. Perhaps we can adapt those parts of EMF+SWMH to SWMH so that it's what you'd actually expect. Otherwise, e.g., for the Conclave compatch, infamy/coalitions will be completely and utterly insane on standalone SWMH, as one example.

TL;DR: It's worth nothing that a) standalone SWMH doesn't play like it should due to a mismatch between historical goals and vanilla gameplay goals, and b) EMF+SWMH has several unique SWMH-specific features-- aside from specializations-- which are intended to make SWMH play-out more historically and workably in-game and such.

But, yeah, it works-- not going to crash or something. The HIP installer would never let you choose an installation configuration that was known not to work.

Is it possible to mod the converter so that it would make the converted save playable in MEIOU & Taxes or is that just a fantasy?
Is it possible to mod? Yes, in the sense that the Converter is sufficiently moddable. Is it fantasy in the sense that somebody is going to develop such a thing (and keep it up to date between both rapidly changing maps / histories)? Probably.

Thanks for the info. I'll just use EMF and SWMH if you say that SWMH alone wouldn't work so well.

Do I understand well that EMF+SWMH is actually not crashing with conclave (though not fully working as intended) ? 0_o

Really ? I'd be curious to know why you say so, the concile mechanics and non-agression pacts seem to be major improvements to me.

Coalitions and shattered retreat ruined CK2. I'm just gonna play HOI 3, wait for HOI 4 and play CK 2 with the 4.5 patch, using the improved map as it includes Livonians..

My reputation? I am one of the main reasons why significant De Jure changes were made in the original CK 2 map. Duchy of Livonia going into k_Finland and e_Scandinavia + 1 county in Northern-Latvia made Estonian/Suomenusko, although a larger portion of modern-day Latvia should be Livonian/Estonian in the CK2 time frame.

I'm currently playing your mod, I will see if it will grow on me with time. Just saying.

Also the westernmost Livonian province has Romuva religion, not Suomenusko, I think that is bug..
I will need to dig up my notes on it at some point, but iirc the reason I gave the Vanema/Vredecouren guys baltic religion was due to them being a fringe case betweens Livonians and Couronians with heavy influences from both. EI they were of Finnic genisis but they had become distinctively baltified with time.

They were definitely not a fringe case. The Livonian presence on the Courland peninsula (or Livonian peninsula as said in Estonian) was so big that the last Livonians died out there.

Firstly, Baltic tribes entered modern-day Latvia during the late stages of the migration period, before that modern-day Latvia was still Finnic. Secondly, the bigger movement of Latvian tribes towards Livonian areas started after 1220, when the Livonian crusade had emptied some Livonian areas.

Livonian was the lingua franca of modern-day Latvia in the CK 2 timeframe, Baltic tribes could use it to communicate with Estonians, Scandinavians etc. The height of Livonian power was around 12th-13th centuries.

Lastly, Sakala, the south-western Estonian province was never Livonian and it was one of the strongholds of the Estonian independence war against the crusaders from 1207 to 1227.

Straight from urban dictionary ( so you know it's gospel )

Troll: "One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message boardwith the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument"

You post on the HIP forums that you dislike everything about this mod save the map. End of post. That does nothing other than to provoke other community members who have come to greatly appreciate the work of Zij and his team in what has become, by far, the most popular ck2 mod - and by a fairly large margin- to date. Criticism or reasoned disagreement is fair - I've had my own and make them known when I feel doing so will contribute to their work which has made this mod great.

So yes your label of troll is appropriate. Don't like it? Then act your age and offer something of substance for contribution. Otherwise, get off the thread....

Most Sincerely,
The "Kid"

1. Why do tall people have increased health? That's wrong. Recently it has been scientifically proven that short people live longer than tall people. In HIP, tall people have increased health and it is the opposite. Also the added martial is dubious.

2. When raiding, the enemy can always get to the county faster than I can get back to the ship, it's very hard to raid anything and it is unrealistic.

These are some of the problems I have seen in a few hours of playing + of course the confusing interface.
