The Welsh culture localisation is pretty bad right now (it shouldn't have the preposition "o" as in "Tywysogaeth o Cymru" but rather "Tywysogaeth Cymru"), and I think it still has Irish titles thrown in as well for some reason. I think I mentioned it before but it never got fixed. Also, Tywysog (Prince) and Tywysogaeth (Principality) should be the title for a Welsh king/kingdom level title, I believe the last time I played it was "king/kingdom".
ThanksThe localization of several Finno-Ugric cultures aren't capitalized (the culture names themselves). Off the top of my head, the Ingrians, Karelians, and Maris aren't capitalized like other cultures (English localization).

If I had to make a guess right now of when the version would be ready to ship, it would be sometime February, but its just a personal guess and we are as always at the mercy of RL. We will try to provide a real ETA later in December, we can't promise more atm. We also got to factor in sufficient time, after we got an internal beta ready, for the other HIP mods to adapt and take advantage of the new setup. Nope you haven't yet seen all the areas that are being overhauled for this version. Yes, it is.But why does the mod has generic pagan in eastern africa? That's kinda silly.
Note that SWMH doesn't modify religion stuff like that. [See EMF or the upcoming VIET Immersion reintroduction for a more extreme version of that.] The culture splits, though, yeah. theKing can correct me upon this, but I don't think hellenic culture is getting any split any time soon. However, as mentioned not long ago in this thread, we've had a tentative Deutsch culture split actually done since April. However, the HRE region is also being overhauled, and we initially thought the Asian expansion would take a fraction of the time it has or will ultimately take, so we've held off on releasing that for now.
Aasmul, remember, whenever we get ready to do the Deutsch culture split for real, we still need sync-up first beforehand so that we can re-run our culture-melt scripts over the latest character history database as well as make sure to implement any dynamic logic (melting pot or otherwise-- I've already got some code in the 'otherwise' department written from a long time ago) related to the split. I really can't wait until we can get around to doing this, because it will make the HRE such a more fun arena to play.
Maybe use some parts of VIET. I remember that mod had east african paganism with icon and all. Since this mod aims to improve historicity, some religions should be represented as they were historically.
The Greek Culture during the Byzantine period wasn't really all that regional, like the Italian cultures throughout the entire period or the German cultures throughout at least the opening 200-300 years from 867. So it would be pretty counterintuitive, considering the goal of SWMH, to split up the Greek culture up along regional lines that didn't really exist.
It would be fun to include more Vlach cultured provinces, but the records are very murky about whether they constitued majorities anywhere but in the Thessaly duchy (now know as Megale Vlachia). But really besides the three big monolothic cultures that dominate my area (Armenian, Greek and Turkish) the only cultural diversity was really on what would correspond to a barony level in the game.
So no chance of using the religions of viet with the SWMH map? That's a pity. At least rename west african to african or sahelian and get rid of generic pagan in the east.
When you roll out your next release I will play all 10000 Iranian and Central Asian games I wanted to play, I'll be to busy to play in RussiaNot as far as i know, unless you do quite a bit of modding work yourself.
But rest assured that we will fix the mess that is CM Russia in our next release.
Surely all you need to do is open all the province history files which have tribal holdings and then use the find and replace function?Is there a way to play "tribeless" version of SWMH? I wanted to play Russian game, but the state of Russia post-CM patch is depressing.
