He seems a bit Croatian?:unsure:, I know it was very relative back then, but his powerbase seems to be in Croatia. Do we know some of the lesser nobles he fought against?(sounds like they were Bosnian), also what about some of the families that has been used when makeing coat of arms for the new provinces?

Hehe, well, other think he seems a bit Serbian. Nevermind. He fought the Paul I Šubić of Bribir as I said (House of Šubić). He fought with Stjepan II Kotromanić. Those two characters seems good to starts with in 1290's.

Other fellow with coat of arms are Hrvatinići and their famous member Hrvoje Vukčić. Then we have Kosača family and their famous member, Vlatko Vuković. Other than that I don't know any prominent families that ruled much bigger territories.

As stated above rivers, provinces and topolegy has been drawn and most history/barrony/localication files has been rewritten.

So what I still have to do is:

1. fix the barrony setup of Croatia and the Austian provinces
2. redo positions for 250 provinces(while trying to convince myself that I still have a life...)
3. fix polish barronies and flags(I have had to remove Polish fixes). This might be posponed to the next update. Will of course fix the Sliesian province naming for this update.
4. fix the culture of bosnian nobles

Im aiming at having this finished by sunday(monday at the latest)

First of all, there isn't better screen shot for the Low Countries? I like that you added Hesse.
One thing I noticed is that you might need to reconsider your setup in Austria, Styria, Carinthia and Carniola. Those borders IMHO are better done in a mod like the Resketched Provinces mod. (For instance Styria borders Austria and Carinthia and separates these). BTW: Ditmarsk, I thought it was spelled Dithmarschen. Edit: I missed your to do list.

I can provide it, but there is not much point yet, only thing changed west of the Rhein since I included the Lowlands mod is the rivers( most of the river changes west of the Rhein is from the Mercator, apart from two rivers that were misplaced). I will do some work to get rid of the lower lorraine duchy, when this update has been finished. Will see the introuction of a few additional counties to the area(Spoonheim for one)

I like that you added Hesse.

It was a special gift for you actually, I rembered you asked for it in another mods thread a while back.

Thanks will look into it. The only real map I could find with a veiw over the area was the one with all the stemduchies on(and I know from other isues that its hardly precise...)

That one I had spotted(but only after I took the screenshots), and a bit silly I messed it up. I was originally adding Cieszyn but then last night I discoverd that it was already there in the landedfile, and after a bit of digging(I worked backwards through polish fixes) I found out that the only province missing was actually Legnica this of course meant I had to switch every color ID around(apparently not a great job I did at that)

Its not, but thats one thing I don't think I will change. Rügen should actually be its own one county duchy(and the province should have a bit of the land on the continent) if it should be a 100 % percent correct

Don't know if it has been adressed, but Znojmo (as a city) is part of Bohemia, so it shouldn't be in Austria. I'd suggest changing the name of the County to Linz (or whaterver is more historically accurate)

Thanks for the map, its much better than thoes I got hold off.

With the Wisla I think that I simply misplaced the two springs in the mountains and then overcorrected due to the topolegy.

Will fix right away.

-edit found the problem with opole and the oder, I had put a pixel to much on the river after Wroclaw, thus makeing the river disapear

Good you said that, Im afraid it can't be Linz though as it has to be the capitial of Traungau.

Might have found a solution, I could turn it into a county of Mühlverirtel(Historical region used in the administrative divison until the 19th century) as it more or less equals the area in question.

I can't really find anything other that would work better, but if anybody has an alternative solution I would like to hear it(Im looking at you Ruwaard).


-edit, found an extra alternative solution that I think I will go with. Will have the new version ready tomorrow night, all issues has been adressed(the question in Austria/Bohemia is how well), at least the mod seems to run smoothly so hopefully it will be completly bug free from launch.

Changelog:

Adds the Mercator mod(redrawn terrain, corrected rivers and topography)

Adds my own river corrections( almost everything on the continent between Luxembourg in west and Vladimir volynskie in east, has been either drawn or redrawn by me. So if you discover anything out of order with the rivers in that area there is a 95% chance that im the person you should yell at)

Adds a redrawn carpahtians(longer, so it actually goes as far south as it should), with new topoelgy and terrain

Redraws 250-300 provinces(HRE, Pommernia, Poland, Bohemia, Hungary and the Balkans)

Adds 13 new provinces: Lolland, Cattaro, Travunia, Zavresje, Donji Kraji, Vrtevica, Krasso, Macva, Srem, Königssondergau, Zarand, Voigtland and Legnica

Removes 5 provinces(many others has been renamed/used as another province instead, but these have had their color and title id used in a completly diffrent areas of the map): Perm, Kola, Samoyedes, Mzab(now a barrony) and Zyriane.

Adds Bosnian as a culture, and changes members of Kotromanic and Kulnic dynasties to Bosnian culture

Adds titular kingdoms of de Gother and de Vends(must be of one of the scandinavian cultures, hold a scandinvian crown, be count of ostgotaland or stettin and be duke of either ostgötaland or Pommernia.

Makes the Latin empire(titular) formable if you are catholic

adds "empire"kingdoms of Trebizond and Nicea(I need to add further creation protection but I have not yet found a suitable one)

Fixes all(I hope) special titles and FOAs, so now all "duchy"kingdoms should display correctly and the same with the empires(unions etc.)

Adds LordHroth's big list of culture specifik titles, FOAs and entity names.

Renames a couple of entties

Corrects barronies in most edited provinces

Not yet, but they will be currently the terrain was a very quick redraw, and I got preocupied with the Balkan situation right in the middle of it...

I actually also wanted to ask you about your thoughts on Danish barronies, since Im planning on finally putting them right. Lolland is done correctly but otherwise I have only changed a few, back when I initially released the mod.

Also a question about Patrum Terra, should I start to work on the rivers with the current projection or should I hold off til we have seen Evanders maps?
