Have you built your space station to level 2? You can't build destroyers until the station is level 2 for destroyers and level 3 for cruisers just in case you didn't know.

Did you also change your Core Sector policy? Screenshots suggest they're being pushed out because you have Bajor in your Core Sector.

I have the same problem with the remans. Easily replicable, just start a new game as the romulans and then change the core sector policy and put the remans to caste system.
What SHOULD happen is that all mineral/food remans should become caste-slaves and stay and all other should get forced out, but instead ALL of them have the red force-migrate symbol next to them.

Even later on when a similar thing occured with conquered vulcans (even their slaves, which should be allowed to stay in core systems, get the forcemigrate symbol) and I put them into a sector (where they should never be force-migrated out) they still have the red force-migrate symbol forever.
I have never paid enough attention and seen whether or not they actually DO get kicked out or whether the red forcemigrate symbol is just a visual error, though, since there are usually decades of waiting before anything actually happens with the force migration.

True but I was in the ship contructions menu and they weren't there. Only frigates, schience ships and so on. Plus even if I couldn't build them I should see them in the ship building menu.

If I set rights for the Cardassians to Caste, they won't become slaves either.

Just tested this and they did... They only show the slavery icon after a month or so unless you move them to another tile and back again, but they correctly enslaved on mineral and food tiles for me.

If you have a savegame would be good to double check.

Hi, I just started playing this mod and I absolutely love it. Keep up the good work.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys have any plans or desire to do any post-TNG stuff using ideas from Star Trek Online? I'd love to see a quest chain for the Romulans that allowed for the formation of the Romulan Republic, and I feel like the Iconian War story arc would be perfect for an new game crisis.

Does the Dominion not have destroyers ? I know in DS9 they only had three ship types. Is that the problem ??

edit: just researched cruisers and no new ships.

Here is the last save shortly after researching cruisers. I also got an event a while ago like higher (more evolved?) ship types available.
ps: it is probably something on my part but I never had these problems in my other games (with the Federation)

Hey :) Wondering about the priorities assigned to empire spawning when you start a new game. In my latest the Krenim Imperium didn't spawn and Krenim Prime is arctic but with no pops and quite a few buildings.
I'm not sure if that's because I have some custom vanilla empires I didn't delete or if it's just down to chance with the max number of empire spawns at 40. Are major empires' spawns prioritised over minors or how does it work? Just a bit weird that there's buildings if the Krenim didn't spawn at the start.
Unless you amazing devs put in a random temporal annihilation easter egg? :D

I noticed somethign else: If I click on new design and then on cruiser it doesn't show anything but when I click on auto complete ship the picture appears but I cannot save it.

edit: I somewhat solved the problem through clicking on auto generate designs.

Squirrelbane - that'll be your custom empires I'm afraid. I'm going to be working on some fix-up scripts this weekend to remove non-Star Trek empires that spawn, and to try and repair instances where important species aren't spawned because of it. Probably won't be live until our next major patch though.

Bismarck - thanks for the Save! I'll check when home or try and get one of the team to review before that.

Does anyone know a console command to spawn a specific empire? I can't find one that would work on the list of console commands. The borg will probably overrun the delta quadrant quite quickly without the Krenim there.

another thing: When enemy fleets are bombarding planets they never flee even when my much larger fleet is closing in on them.
The AI behavior cannot be modded, this is a Vanilla problem.
We have checked the savegame and everything looks fine, ships can be build.

The AI behavior cannot be modded, this is a Vanilla problem.
We have checked the savegame and everything looks fine, ships can be build.
Thats a shame. Enemies are sending one or two ships to bombard conquered planets which I can destroy easily. This is new for me because with the Federation I never started a war. But man Paradox should really do somethign about that :(

edit: and the le lethargic trait is a little to frequent. Both my admirals have it and I think both fled one or two times

I was wondering about that myself when playing Federation I can't choose Supremacy & domination. I assume you disabled certain perk lines for certain factions where it is unfitting?
