The station should never be able to stop the dominion fleet. Only the wormhole entitys could do that. And for that you need Sisko. Havn't you seen ds9?
You get an event which moves one of their pops to your planet now when you bring them into the fold as a member world. Also several of those species have special techs you only get when they are member worlds.Been playing around the Federation. Maybe this can be something done in a future patch? I’ve had issues with single homeworld species such as Trill, Bajor, Bolians etc. when you complete their ascension they act as a special kind of vassal. I’ve always had issues that I could never colonize or set up new member species the way I want to because they were a part of the Federation, but I had no control. With multiple world species, while I couldn’t control the homeworld, I still had access from the other species worlds to colonize with etc.
I found a decent work around with that. Essentially I use the Federation ascension process for empires with multiple worlds (cardasians) and use protectorate/integrate subject on single member worlds. This way the empire isn’t a special vassal in the Federation, but is just fully integrated to where I can colonize from.
I just wish it was possible to colonize with the single member Federation worlds
So Im currently playing through as the Feds and loving it. However with regards to the wormhole and the Bajoran System I have a few gripes...
If you manage to get the Bajorans to become a member of the Federation, which I have - then there is no possibility of maximising the starbase in that sector to its full advantage. Im currently stuck with a 3.0k starbase and a Dominion fleet on the other side which will overpower it in seconds if they come through...
The message that pops up saying how the discovery of the wormhole will change the balance of power in the quadrant, well in the TV show it was certainly true, however as it stands, there is no incentive to encourage control of the Bajoran system, other than "there is a quick way to the Gamma Quadrant there" - Would it be possible to introduce a LARGE incentive, such as increased research points, speeds, a large energy and mineral deposit, properity (all of these things) so that actually owning the wormhole would be a major plus to any race controlling it. Thhink of all the trade the gamma quadrant species brought through!

This is an issue with DirectX rendering on windows. Any instability will be fixed when you enable -opengl as launch parameter by right clicking Stellaris in your steam library.Anyone else getting regular crashes to the desktop. I've had like 8 with my current pay through as the dominion
Hi guys,
Small annoying thing that happens at the start of most games as the UFP. Either Vulan and Androia and UFP form a Coalition without the Tellarites who form their own with Denobluns. Or I join the Tellar/Denob Coalition. I can never seem to unify the 4/5 races to form the proper federation with giving lots of minerals for survey ships, constructions ships for outposts etc.
Is there any way to remove the distance modifier or have increased opinion for the founding members so that the proper coalition can be formed?
I guess the first question is, what difficulty are you playing on?

Not sure how to be more specific but I'll try: Right-click Stellaris in your library, go to preferences and then enter "-opengl" into launch options. This will force the game to run in opengl rather than directX, there are no negative repercussions. The game will overall run much more stable in the mod as well as in vanilla.Step by step for those who haven't done this before? I think I know where I need to go and input that, but I'm not sure. Also will it mess with the vanilla game?
