Can we expect a release this week?
Depends on how polished you want it.
I'm going to release a barebones beta at some point this week or next, but you'll probably have to get it via SVN.
...
And now for screenies.
Can we expect a release this week?
Are you going to implement new headgears? Some of the headgears feels weird for a mod set in the Roman era.
I read you were looking for some maps of the extent of christianity earlier.. here's a map that shows the extent in 451

Current state of Gaul (Aquitaine will be fixed, don't worry).
...
I did a quick playtest to see what would happen, the Irish Clans went into open warfare in about 1 week, Italy collapsed into Anarchy after a few faction revolts, and Gaul is a mad 5-way warzone.
All going to plan.

So Italy's called Lombardia while Odoacer rules???
Found another source for Persia; this one's a little more...biased, though.
Presenting an ebook of History of the Wars, books I and II, by Procopius!
More screenshots of the Sassanid area to come soon! (Doing some more research now. I'm afraid that the earliest beta will have quite a few ahistorical characters in the area, but my plan is to revisit the setup in later releases as my research turns up more names.)
Procopius is awesome, especially the Secret Histories .
I'm looking forward to seeing it, I'm just working on getting the political setup of Western Germany done.
....
As promised, west Germania.

Not to intrude on this thread, but have you had a look at Diadochi Kings? The link is in my signature.I wants, I wants, I wants! This and Mare Nostra definitely are peaking my interests extra hard.
