This means the Han chancellor forced the sitting Han Emperor to abdicate in favor of the Han chancellor, now Emperor of Dai.

Okay, wasn't sure if that was a bug or not.

I'm pretty sure this is a bug though; somehow the Inner Court didn't abdicate after the previous Divine Emperor died and now the Empress and the Divine Emperor are not married and have their own spouses. This has resulted in two Divine Emperors.

Latest Update Up!

Issues y'all brought up should be fixed! Not using the Jade DLC unit graphics because the way they are made is incompatible with other unit graphics, and I like the avatars of other cultures better than the Jade DLC ones.

Could the vanilla religion bonuses for Tengri (levy, light cav bonus) be added?

I felt like bonuses off a religion were kind of strange. I only added the +5 Learning for Buddhists so that they have a higher chance of converting others.

Atm, various peoples (including the mongol cultures) receive cultural affinity bonuses/negatives. Some are stronger at offensive cavalry and bad at defensive infantry. That kind of deal.

Just a question! What do people think about the impassable mountain borders? It's meant to reflect the strategic value of certain regions... Specifically the ranges around Hanzhong that Wei and Shu fought over for decades.

I'm ok with them, they create more chokepoints.

I have a quick and possibly silly question. If you're playing feudal, does your heir need to be adult age upon succession to avoid a game over? I remember playing this mod awhile back, and I got a game over for my governor character once he died, even though he had four sons. Was it because they were all underaged, or am I missing something about the mechanics?

Any help would be appreciated.

Not a silly question. Under the Imperial System, when your character dies, your title is returned to the Imperial Court who reaasigns it to someone else. If your sons or brothers or dynasty member does not ALREADY have a title, then you will get game over. In the Chinese Imperial age, educating children and ensuring they were eatablished (before croaking) was essential to continuing the family line.

Edit: This is different if you are either independent or NOT feudal. Also, this is why sending children to take the Imperial Examinations can be wise. This will enable them to be in queue for a title. (If they succeed)

I posted not much long ago about this issue, but even with the recommendations people gave me and the new update, the issue keeps appearing.

Any province whose culture is han has its holdings in black (i add an image so you can see) and i cant upgrade any building on it. I deleted previous versions of the mod and I can play with chinese characters in vainilla and mods like 633 A.D, but not in mods like this one or CK2+.

What version of the base game are you playing? What build? Are you running multiple mods concurrently?

So is there a reason the Yellow Turbans are all fighting separate wars at the start?

Also is there a chance to get some actual yellow turbans/scarves for them?

The Yellow Turbans were not a unified state/government like the Han. They were really localized peasant leaders/bandits fighting under the banner of the Yellow Heaven. Local warlords even raised armies and privatized land/property in the guise of combatting the Yellow Turban threat. This is why they are separated out like that.

I think with the current release, the Yellow Turbans DO have yellow scarves. My graphics modding skills at work bwahahahaha!

I can understand that, but it also seems weird that Zhang Jue can't work with his two brothers Bao and Liang as it seems historically (especially since one of them is Jue's heir at the start). Maybe just have those three warring against the Han together?

And I did find the yellow headscarf in the graphics folder.

The version of the game is the 2.8.0 (PLQA); I cant pick the han holdings (which are in black, as it shows in the image I posted), so I cant' upgrade the buildings on them and i don't use any other mods, only the Sanguo one.

So, the problem is that the mod is now using the CK2 2.8.1 vanilla Chinese images instead of my old modded ones. An update will fix this problem for you. The 2.8.1 settlement pictures are prettier anyways haha.

Jace, what are the char ID numbers for Huang Quan, Li Yan, Jiang Wei, Yin Shang and Liang Xu?

Also, shouldn't Liu Zhang be older than Liu Bei?
And he had at least 2 known sons if I remember correctly.
