Hello my lords. I don't know where to post it so moderators feel free to move my post.

I'm asking someone with a good heart to make an War of the roses and a Tudor era mod. It would be quite awesome! Think about the "protestant heresy" invading europe, the matters of Henry VIII and etc etc etc.

I play War of the Roses since alpha and all I think when playing is: "Imagine me as a lord and ruling on this time?!"

Anyway, thanks for reading!

Like the first replier said, CK2 focuses on feudalism, and feudalism was something of a very specific era.
As you can see the game is very based on Rural and agriculture.
I Suggest you playing Europa universalis , for it covers that period

The only problem with that era is that the feudal model in CK2 doesn't represent the Tudor era very well. Someone could still make the mod, it just would be a forced fit into the game. That era is better covered in EU3.

IDK people have been making mods for the ancient era, that era also doesnt fit the feudal model either, itll just require a bit of imagination. Id like to see this sort of mod as well.

Feudalism was still very much alive during the war of the roses, although that is generally seen as when it was starting it slow decline. Technically land tenures (english feudalism) didn't end officially until 1660, but that was the theoretical end of a long, slow process that started almost three centuries earlier. Don't forget, the war of the roses began only 2 years after CK2's vanilla end date.

the period is more feudal than Rome's or fall of Rome's period from where a lot of mod are popping up.
it makes much more sense for a war of the Roses mod than roman period's ones IMHO.

I would like to see a mod with this theme! Korbah said everything, the decline of feudalism doesn't changed the world in only 2 years. Modders, I would love to see it! I would love to play it.

To be honest, I'd like to see Paradox extend the start date in a dlc with a "Decline of Feudalism" theme. Perhaps at the same time they add republics. Changing the date is a great way of making dlc's worth their price.
Trying to maintain power in an era when peasant power was on the rise would make for a very fun scenario.

Sorry to let you down OP, but I don't think anybody will get to making a mod like this for your sake. It will require a lot of research to get the characters and titles down and a lot of skill to code the events. Nobody will work on this on your behalf, but one may if he personally wants a Tudor mod himself.

My mod, Matter of Britain, rather reminds me of the Renaissance sometimes, the way that the courts worked. Anyway, it would not be hard to do, but you would need to do the historical research yourself. You would need to find all the rulers for the provinces at least for one date, for whatever map you would be using (look at the Britannia map by duinnin), but that would be easier than for the 400s AD that I am doing. :)
