Great update! By the way, another question. The titles (Grand prince, prince, etc) for Russians. Are they culture-tided? I mean, if a Polish ruler claimed, say, Novogord, would that title then be "Duchy of Novogord" ? Would be cool if this was so, but not necessary. :p

I think that it is culture-based. I was able to create the kingdom (grand principality) and duchy (principality) title for the Russian culture. So if a Polish ruler gets a principality title, he should be called Duke.

Nice and quick update. :p By the way, for the next update, please try to make Boleslaw's primary title to Lesser Poland and capital as Krakow. It maybe has a pink colour, but I really hate to see when Poland simply gives away entire lesser poland aswell as Krakow to some useless counts! A good idea could be to simply change between greater poland and lesser poland when it comes to colours. I don't exactly know how to get Lesser Poland as primary title, but I know that if you manage to set Krakow as capital since start then his primary will be Lesser Poland.

Anyways, I made some edits to the polish.txt and polish_new.txt files, which I would like you to add! Fairly basic stuff but I added the two brothers of Boleslaw the Bold, Mieszko and Otto. They are both dead by the time the game start, but I feel it's a nice addition.

To the polish.txt file I increased Boleslaw's stewardship to 10. He rules a rather big demense right now, so he requires more sterwardship. I also changed Wladyslaw Herman's "Flamboyant Schemer" to "Intricate Webweaver". It is highly likely that Wladyslaw Herman plotted against his brother to take the rulership of Poland, which he eventually did.

There's a problem with Ad Limina at least in the RK instructions.
You claim the correct procedure is to put all the green-text mods into the mods folder and start them together with RK. However, the Ad Limina modder, requires the player to actually OVERWRITE the RK files since Ad Limina.zip is to be unpacked INSIDE the RK folder and not BESIDE the RK folder within the mod folder of the game.

Please clarify.

Psst, the only error with Ad Limina and Reality Kings right now is the Event_Modifier, I think? Just copy the Ad Limina content and include it in the RK file. It is currently not working since Hansentic league also edits the event_modifier, but that's the only file that collides.

Solution is to switch the Ad limina with all the other included mods while listing in the 1st post their relative versions.

Naturally this means absorbing the mod inside RK just like done with BGA. In time, as each mod progresses on its own, they can be patched, still inside the SAFE and compatible RK outer frame.
But pls, Deserteur fix this issue ASAP because I can't play CKII until you do that. :)

Well I am still not conviced about Ad Limina. You better ask the guy to make a RK1066 compatible version first.

Meanwhile I wanted to point out Basilica Tribuo which focuses on religion. There are some core ideas I like a lot in the description.

Anyway, I will be waiting for you, Deserteur, to clear this inconvenience. It is better and safer when playing your mod to only download and use files according to YOUR instructions and from YOUR links. That saves a lot of headaches. :)
Time to update the RK description and files in your 1st post.

Keep up with the good work. I won't play RK until you move on, alas, will only play your recommended setup. :)

I use this mod together with the three other mods on the main post (They all change different files so I assume that means they are compatible) and the game crashed whenever I choose an ambition (get married).
I also changed Muslims to be playable.

edit: Okay the 'Ad Limina Apostolorum' mod was the problem.

The Ad Limina mod is DEFINITELY a problem.
I followed the instructions of the guy and just came out from a long game where:

a) I couldn't convert 3 consecutive heirs to catholic faith (I managed to convert to Orthodox without wanting to do so, the whole southern Italy instead). This means you can't find people to convert your heir because you convert a county to orthodoxy and then its bishop will die of old age and be replaced by orthodox bishop). Summary: converting province is too easy, converting person (heir) too hard via education (the latter may be achieved anyway provided your counties don't convert ultrafast like they do now).

b) Despite being on Gravelkind (so, no voting), I kept seeing my Duke/Vassals trying to have my successor elected. That is a nasty problem.

Deserteur asked for my help integrating Cantrefi, so I went and merged the mods for him. Reality Kings + Cantrefi was attached!

... And then edited to be removed, since Deserteur got it and I had other uses for the file space.

Ok, I give you the choice. Either I will include a Kingdom of Cyprus (only the provinces of the island) and a Kingdom of Thessalonika (only the provinces of the duchy) or I will not include any of the two. What do you prefer? Another solution would be that I do not include any kingdom for Western Byzantine and will allocate all duchies directly below the empire. Which I actually prefer.
Neither. One duchy kingdoms are a terrible choice.

  • Removed the Kingdom of Byzantium within the Byzantine Empire and replaced it with the historical Kingdoms of Epirus and Thessalonika as well as some duchies.

Neither. One duchy kingdoms are a terrible choice.

You are late man :) I already did some stuff. check it out! I thought again about Cyprus. It will stay as it is because it simply was a Kingdom back in the time of CK2. In this case historical accuracy is more important to me than fears about a 2 province kingdom. Please understand this.
