Are you using any other mods? What start date? Is the emperor's wife Sunni?

the emperor is my grandson he is 6 and no other mods the hole empire and the land become sunni in about a week in game and no other mods

I know its historically acurate, but it still looks awful

The borders of the time were based on the environment, unlike today. Some historical maps have Byzantine Egypt looking like shit, but it's correct, so...

Well essentially the suggestion I made to paradox with regards to the fall of Byz

Also which areas would be affected by the reconquest events for Persia because I have written a few myself (not code just in document in case I got around to learning how to mod) and I think they would make for a fine addition.

I would like for the reconquest to be at least the de jure persian empire and zoroastrian holy sites, Armenia, Georgia, Syria, Palestine, Sindh, Afghanistan/ Bactria, Sogdiana, Turkestan and some others at the least.

Found another one; reconquest of Bordeaux flavour text has another errant apostrophe - "...part of the Frankish realm until it's division in 888."

Try Omega's beta a few pages back, it should work

Star it might not work on the most recent beta version of the game. There have been some reports of strange crashes.
