Mean cultural renaming? A lot of areas have roman cultural naming, I finished up iberia and greater france the other day
Not sure what you mean? Redoing the de jure map via decision? Altering the province map? etc
If you reconquer a province (vanilla events) it creates a new title, which contains all duchies associated with that province as de jure territory
Ah okay thanks for explaining that dont know if thats been done yet. I'd like to add a similar event for Persia with armenia, turkestan and Sindh.

So basically viceroy kingdoms in the WRE will be titled as "Provincia" and then the Roman name of that region? Like "Provincia Britannia" instead of "Kingdom of England", Right?
Edit: I was talking about these "provinces", and not the ingame "provinces".

I did the individual provinces and duchies not the kingdoms, Omega is doing that part though based on the document he gave me that should be somewhat how it looks.
All kingdoms, duchies and counties in Western Europe (Not England at the moment, only France, Spain and Italy. There is kingdom localisation though for all historical Roman areas) have Roman localisation. As for reforming the Roman provinces/editing the de jure, that will eventually be possible, yes.
What are the proposed Roman names for:
- K. Burgundy (Narbonensis?)
- K. France (Gallia?)
- K. England (Britannia?)
- Iberian kingdoms. (No idea)
- K. Lotharingia (Belgica?)
- K. Aquitaine (Aquitania?)
- K. Croatia (Dalmatia?)
- K. Frisia (Germania Inferior?)
- K. Germany (Germania Superior?)
- K. Bavaria (Noricum?)
- K. Ireland (Hibernia?)
- K. Jerusalem (Iudaea?)
And are the viceroy kingdoms under WRE will be titled as "Provinicia"s?
What the proposed COA for the Western Roman Empire? I suggest the Chi Rho (PX-Alpha-Omega) on white background as the mods' logo is, perfectly suits I think.
The Iberian Kingdoms can be broken down into:
Portugal = Lusitania
Andalucia = Beatica
Aragon = Tarraconnesis
Mind you, you'll need to do a lot of dejure drifting to make it work with the duchies as they are, but it can be done.
An event can be done to redo de jure borders easily if it needs to
1. Merged into Gallia.
2. The base of Gallia.
3. Britannia.
4. All are merged into Hispania.
5. Merged into Gallia.
6. Merged into Gallia.
7. Illyria.
8. Belgica.
9. N/A (Localising it broke the "East Francia" localisation for some reason).
10. The parts across the Danube go to Germany and the rest become Noricum
11. Ireland.
12. Judea.
Roman viceroyal kingdoms are exarchates (I went with my own localisation because time has moved on and Byzantine titles would have had an impact).
The Chi-Rho will be the WRE symbol, yes. The eagle was given to the classical Roman Empire instead.

Gallia sounds like a very powerful region within the WRE, should be careful there with the liege\vassal power balance.
By the way, Is the mod gonna include a Germania and Skandza overhaul as well?

Speaking of Gaul, while you guys don't have to, it would be nice if you could have the Bishoropic in Lyon renamed "Sanctuary of the Three Gauls", since it was a real thing back in Roman times and gives a slight tinge of flavor for those in the area.
For those that have never heard of the thing, it was a temple like building that helped not just Romanize Gaul, but also was a symbol of how Romano-Gaul culture was a hybridization not just assimilation.

You could make a titular title Germania which switches with k_germany if the territory is conquered
