Just to add something about the lictors, they only numbered a few hundred historically, but it makes sense to me that a reborn republic would expand it to properly protect its leaders.
I have to look into the heir designation mechanics, but it should work in theory. Feudal republics won't be exclusive to Rome and Byzantium, I will add options for you to adopt it with other titles (It'll be great for Novgorod).
I've not tried either mod so I don't really know what you're talking about. The republic mechanics will be available in specific circumstances by decision or event.Sorta like the republics in crisis of the confederation, or new valariya in the game of thrones mod?

I wasn't really planning to go that far into it. The current mechanics work well enough, Rome never would have had a female leader anyway.Basically, elections in these mods is purely event based.
Crisis of the Confederation takes it a step further by making it such that nearly all inheritance is done by events which are triggered before your character is allowed to die.
As it turns out, Pratican Elective only disallows female inheriters if it is allowed to operate as in Vanilla. The way Galle did it, the title being given to the Heir by event and you be given control over the heir then, it allows Female inheritors.
However, it's in the end having to trick the game. Unless your realm is using hereditary successions for titles, instead of appointment and elective, the normal succession mechanics dont come into play. Which allows them to do all sorts of fancy stuff with succession.
Most important being Term lengths. But it was a bit buggy for him to get working originally.
The maximum you can get from the retinue boost is 240,000, the 200,000 is from the MO tech. You get a small amount of retinue points (One or two I think) from each realm holding you have but it's negligible.I have also by this point gotten military organization at max. Also, it's only a 200,000 boost. This is what i think pushes the number so high. Granted, it's a number high enough im never really getting that much forces.
Also, Britannia is localized incorrectly.
Instead of the presumed localization of Kingdom of Britannia, it's just Kingdom Britannia
I haven't added the WRE in yet but the idea is that anyone from the Latin culture group (Which now includes all of the Iberian cultures) will be able to form it if they can conquer Italy, Gaul and Spain before the HRE has been formed. If the HRE has ever existed, it will lock out the WRE for the rest of the game (Later bookmarks will obviously be out). How does the WRE work in this mod?
And nice job in the mod.
I've integrated the Ancient Religions Reborn mod and a part of the One World mod.
Yes, that turned out to be my fault.Did you solve the issue with hellenic coas?
Strange, he should be able to grant claims. Have you tried it as a vassal, it might lock the emperor out.Firstly: this is a great mod, thanks for making it!
Then I'd like to report a bug: looking in the 00_religions.txt file it seems that I should be able to request claims now that I've instituted the Imperial religion, yet the button "claim" just doesn't show up where it normally does when playing Catholic.
