Hi
I'm sure this has been answered before, and I'm sorry for that, but, is it HIP compatible?
thanks

This. It would have been impossible to make PA compatible on it's own because I'd have to rip half of it out, but with the merger we'll be essentially doing what HIP does.Due to the merger of PA with MR, I can safely say that PA will not be HIP compatible.

That's just not true. this is better then HiP.

Of course. I'm going to add in custom ideas eventually. We're getting a PA and MR merger? Will it retain PA's EUIV converter compatibility?

This already includes it.Are there any plans to make this and retinue boost compatible?

This actually will work for the Archontopoulai. Could you come up with something similar for the Roman tagmata? Imperial Auxillia will probably confuse people.Vexillationes?
I'm considering adding in the Roman Republic as an extraordinary title. The merchant republic system doesn't fit it but you can make feudal titles work with patrician elective. How I remember it working was that your most powerful vassals were considered your rivals and you could increase the chance of your heir being elected by funding an election campaign. Feudal republics like these also use the republic titles instead of the normal feudal titles so your leader would be termed either Dictator (Kingdom-level Roman culture republic) or Princeps (Empire-level Roman culture republic). The two routes to forming the republic would be to form the Roman Commune and conquer Italy (This would give you a kingdom-level version, you'd need to conquer Spain and Africa to form the empire-level title) or form the Roman Empire and restore the Senate's power (This would automatically give you the empire-level title).
I have to look into the heir designation mechanics, but it should work in theory. Feudal republics won't be exclusive to Rome and Byzantium, I will add options for you to adopt it with other titles (It'll be great for Novgorod).Would this kind of extraordinary inheritance system be exclusive to Rome and Byzantium? Would this also include choosing who can be your heir like with merchant republics?
