I noticed two bugs in my game:
  • When trying to start a war of imperial dignity with the emperor of middle francia it ends immediately (casus belli no longer valid).
  • When using the imperial reconquest CB I sometimes don't get all land held by the ruler in the duchy. E.g. one time I only got a few baronies while the county was still controlled by the original owner (not vassalized by me).

There might be an issue with the CB and custom titles. I've disabled the custom title decisions for the AI as a workaround. For the Reconquest CB, I'll take a look.

I've been adding in the Gallo-Roman culture (Simply called Gallic in-game), and I've set in stone how it's going to work. The Gallic culture will convert to French slowly, but the events will stop at the year 1000, as will all of the other conversion events. Your culture will become entrenched if you can resist the cultural changes, essentially. Similar to how you can stop the Visigothic culture changes if you reform Visigothia, you'll be able to stop the Gallic changes by forming Gaul (You need to control all of France, Lotharingia, Burgundy and Aquitane, but when you do, they'll be merged into the new kingdom of Gaul). If you can reclaim Britannia and Hispania, you'll also be able to form the Gallic Empire, which will have its own imperial guard. As an extra treat, you'll also be able to form the Palmyrene Empire if you're Levantine Christian or Hellenic.

Cool, nice to see the other spinoffs of the main empire being made available. Question though, is there a way to make it so that if you're say a roman who rules over Gaul that the local cultures will slowly convert into Gallic first and then to Roman? As in make it so that Frankish/French/Occitanian/Breton all can convert to gallic on their way to becoming fully roman. With the conversion times for turning into gallic being faster than the gallic to roman eta so it really has a chance to spread. (So wish it was possible to restore all of the regional varieties of roman [gaulic, hispano, illyrian, britanic, etc.], but saddly the game only really allowed 1 culture to prosper at a time.)

It could be done easily through events.
