Hey Freak. For once in my life I can say that without it being an insult .

The easiest solution for you would be to delete portraits_turkish.gfx in the /prp_all/interface directory. This will revert the Turkish portraits to the original DLC style (or default Muslims if you don't have the DLC). The only downside to this is that you won't get any differentiation between pagan and non-pagan Turks. If you want that, you'll need to do some text editing. Open portraits_turkish.gfx in a text editor like Notepad. Find and replace all instances of the "muslim" with "turkish." I believe that will do the trick, though no guarantees. I'm telling you all this from memory; I didn't actually test it.

Thanks a lot, I deleted the portraits_turkish.gfx and portraits_steppe.gfx and that got the desired effect.

Lots of characters and cultures seem to not be wearing any clothes. For some reason this doesn't affect Norse characters and certain others, like Celtic ones, but it affects other Christians, Muslims and others.

Sounds like you don't own the Early Clothing Packs. Read the yellow text right above the download in the first post for a workaround.

Why am I just now noticing this mod? It's epic and exactly what I've wanted.

I'm particularly glad it fixes the stereotypes regarding the Greek, Armenian, Iberian, and Italian portraits.

Glad that you finally found and enjoy it. I should probably post it to the Steam Workshop to make it more discoverable, but I've had trouble uploading for some reason. If someone wants to semi-permanently volunteer to upload on my behalf, send me a PM.

The ugly Med faces was one of the prime reasons the mod got started. It seemed like such a loss to not take advantage of the DLC's clothes due to the unpleasant faces. Of course if you like the DLC faces, the pack is modular so that you can keep bits and pieces of the vanilla. Everyone (hopefully) gets what they want .

I'm sure your already aware but the new Iberian portraits were released and I of course looked here first before some of the bigger mods due to the fact that I can't play CK2 anymore without your mod Hope to see an update soon as I'd like to see the iberian portrait mod implemented somehow! Glad to see that I've got you hooked . Yes, I have seen the criticism of the new Iberian portraits. As a stop-gap measure, I've updated PRP and placed a new mod in the /prp_extras folder that addresses it. Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot for me to do for this patch. Here's the changelog.

• Added a mod to /prp_extras that gives Western faces to Iberians (Iberian Portraits DLC required)
• Modified culture file for 2.2.3 compatibility (extremely minor)
• Fixed a missing culture file in /prp_core/realign_africans

Note that the sprite layers have been reordered for the Iberians such that their noses won't get covered with beards. Also note that Iberians women use western hair. Unfortunately, there are a couple of hairs in the female Iberian set that don't remotely cover the scalp of the western portraits. The men also have a few glitches like this, but it's not as pronounced.

Crackd has stated that he isn't pleased with the skin tones for the Iberians. So I'm optimistic that this will get fixed in the DLC in the long run. Another solution worth considering is Txini's White Iberians and Greeks mod. If Crackd adjusts the DLCs to match that tone, then he'll make my life a lot harder. PRP thrives on displeasing faces, but those white Iberians and Greeks look pretty darn good.

Great work has always, iron0037. However, there is a problem I would like to notify you. With the mediterranean_realignment.mod, the male late mediterranean portraits seem to use arab clothes. I don't know why. I have all the DLCs, btw.

If you run the mod with the Iberian portraits DLC turned on, strange things may happen. The current build is not intended on being compatible with the DLC (nor does it require ownership of it). I have some ideas for how to incorporate the DLC, which I'll include with the next patch. But I'm still waiting to see if there's an official fix for the dark skin tones the DLC includes.

I'm not seeing that. Can you elaborate a little bit? What start date and what character are you examining? The only Mediterranean characters with Muslim clothing are the Andalusians. Unfortunately, there's no way to distinguish between Muslim and Christians characters, so they all dress in Muslim garb. But I'll examine the Iberian portraits more closely and may opt for them in the future.

Ah I see. That's not actually Arab clothing, that's the old Mediterranean clothes. PRP ships with modified clothing images of the old Mediterranean set (necessary to align properly on western shoulders). Because of this, the new Mediterranean clothes won't show at later dates. I will experiment with "fixing" this. My graphics card exploded this week, so work on the mod has been delayed.

That would work, but it would result in a checksum change.

No offense, and i'm sure you don't care because you have a bunch of subs but all you're doing is putting the most vanilla faces on EVERY character in the game. That's so retarded, the faces of all the other portrait DLCs look good, and they make for great contrast.

I don't think you would walk up to folks in person and say their work is retarded, so I don't know why you think it's acceptable to do so on the internet. I don't go to your YouTube channel and tell you that your metal guitar freestyle is awful. How is such criticism remotely constructive? You need to grow up and learn how to interact in a civil society. Choose your words more carefully next time, and you might start a productive conversation.
