Very cool!!!Modified Western Slavs so that they use Turkish clothing when pagan
I assume that applies to Magyars as well. Do you think it makes sense to extend that to Eastern / Southern Slavs?

Yes, the Magyars are lumped into the western Slav group. That's mostly who it's intended for.Very cool!!!

Yes, you discussed this with me and we both agreed on the Norse. I'll be open to any of your decisions. What about South Slavs? Some of them are pagan in 769.Yes, the Magyars are lumped into the western Slav group. That's mostly who it's intended for.
It occurred to me that I could do the same to pagan eastern Slavs, but I wasn't sure it would work well. There are a lot of different pagan religions they might adopt. I discussed this with you or someone else a while back, and we thought Norse paganism was a likely result, hence the Norse beards for east Slavic pagans. I figured that change was safe enough that it wouldn't look out of place with a different paganism. But Turkish garb might be weird if they didn't go Tengri. The Russian clothes work well enough IMO.
I'll give it some thought; perhaps I'll change my mind. Let me know if you have other ideas (other folks as well). I'm always open to enriching things.
Hey KKrieve500. 17 people have successfully downloaded it, so I'm guessing user error or a problem with your computer's setup. Is this a unique problem to the PRP mod, or is this your first time to attempt to download an attachment in the forums? I just checked, and it works fine for me. I'm using Firefox on a Win64 PC. For me, I can left click on the text and get a prompt that asks me if I'd like to save or open the file. I can also right click on the text and select "Save Link As."Can't download the attachment
The South Slavic group is assigned to westernslavicgfx. So they'll get the Turkish hats in 769. I could create a new graphicalculturetype for them if we wanted to make a distinction (probably keeping Bulgarians as westernslavicgfx since they're Tengri pagans). How would you dress the group if they were pagans?Yes, you discussed this with me and we both agreed on the Norse. I'll be open to any of your decisions. What about South Slavs? Thanks for the kind words! Let me know if you find any bugs that need squashingThanks a lot for the update iron - the portraits look SOOOO good with your mod... Absolutly amazing work!
No no it's fine, I did not remember that they are all in the same graphical group. I think that the Turkish group is fine. Bulgarians are ok being dressed as Tengri pagans. Croatians might look weird, but I think that in the end it would be a kind of minor concern. The South Slavic group is assigned to westernslavicgfx. So they'll get the Turkish hats in 769. Hi, iron. I have this problem where characters of some cultures age correctly, but some others do not. Castilian and Italian, for example, are ageless, while Occitan and Basque age.
After I saw this post in bug reports, I reinstalled CK2 to make sure my files are up-to-date, and did some observing without PRP. Even Castilians and Italians aged all right, as did Greek, German, and all I laid my eyes on. But when I enable PRP and download save, problem remains.
I use realign_ironman (2_2_0_6a) and realign_persians, and latest beta patch. I next start new game to see if problem is with save and not in mod.
Edit: Some more observing, with PRP on. In 1066 bookmark all are aging fine, but earlier Greeks and Georgians are ageless as well. So I'd say that issue is with early mediterranean portraits.
Thank you both for bringing this to my attention. There were some typos in my declarations for early Mediterraneans. I don't know if it was my fault or due to me altering a file from an earlier patch. Either way, it's fixed now. I have uploaded version 2.2.0.6b, which is available in the first post.I tried the update, sort of works. Except not for all cultures it seems. For example the Greek culture, Italian/Venetian and some Spanish ones or whatever. Is this because I use HIP with PRP? I made it compatible with the culture file by adding over the prp culture gfx's to the HIP one. This is because I use PB and SWMH (don't use CPR though obviously because I prefer this mod)
Is there any way to fix this or what?
User above me has same problem
Hey Crackd, if you're checking this thread, I have a question for you. How historically accurate are the Early Clothing DLCs for dates after 950? I'm wondering if it makes sense to use some of the early content for the entire game duration. For example, I checked images of Byzantine emperors, and it looks like their crown is consistent all the way to Constantine XI. They all look like your crown more than the Mediterranean DLC crown. But I'm less sure about the Muslims and Saxons.
Also, is there a reason that boils, reddots, and scars aren't declared for Indian portraits?
Thanks! That was my suspicion, that your stuff was better researched and more applicable throughout the entire game. Now, I have some thinking to do...to opt for historical accuracy or variety.Med after 950 is somewhat accurate. Moreso than the default Meds. The crowns were actually unique per emperor, but they maintained pretty much the same concept. Muslims would be good to use all game. Anglo-Saxons should use them after 950 as well.
And I have no idea why that stuff is not declared for the Indians. Is it declared in their gfx?
Hey Veniathan. I'm glad that early stuff is working now. That is rather strange with your Catholic Croatians. Try as I might, I cannot repeat this on my end. Now that said, my investigation did uncover a bug where some files were missing. If you did a clean install where you deleted the old files, it's possible that the missing files caused the issue you're seeing. Try downloading the version I just uploaded. Apologies to keep forcing everyone to update, but I appreciate all the feedback so that I can fix these things!Since the last update the Early stuff is indeed working, it seems to have. Well .. No problems with aging. But for me Croatians/Moravians/Poles etc etc have the pagan hairs, beards and clothing despite being Catholic?
Other than that, it seems to be working fine. I uploaded an image of the problem. You can see the Croatians which are Catholics have all pagan hair, beard, clothing and whatnot. Is this inteded or just a bug?
Hey Freak. For once in my life I can say that without it being an insultI'm really loving this mod, but is there some way I could edit it so that the altaic cultures still use the the faces from the turkish portrait pack?
