Looking by those dates, It seens you're choosing unfinished bookmarks, since this is just an alpha version it's not entirely complete.

Most of the new dates have ruler data for only a very small part of the map.

Hmm okay. When I started the game on any of those dates, the map suddenly would fill in on day one. The last date had *very* few spots filled as you can see, but even when choosing one the play button remained greyed out. Odd.

As was already said, these bookmarks arent finished, and thus not playable. For the unplayable rulers, it's because they're probably dead.

I've made a map based on this mod depicting antiquity 4000 years ago, covering also a great part of today's Russia, with cultures like sumerians, Indus civilization men (meluhans), pre indo-europeans europeans and the first germanic, slavic, finno-ugric, baltic and turkic people, if someone's interested a could send a copy, I'm now working on events, localistaion and buildings to make it a real mod....

Please contact me if you are attempting to use my work without my consent? I haven't heard anything from you in regards to this and didn't agree to you using my gfx files or other work for you own total conversion if that is what you are doing...I'm not against sharing my work but since it's still in development it seems odd you just used it for your own project.

Sorry all, been far too busy this summer and fall, started a new job and moved across Canada so I have just sat down this last week and done a bunch of dev work on the project. Will update a few articles and a patch to moddb shortly. Been having some major issues with character history files for the later bookmarks which is holding up my further development of the sicilian wars, persian empire and alexanders rise to power, but portions of those cultures,names, and histories are all complete. In addition, I finally have a working prototype for the Roman Republic which is currently using the elective monarchy system to elect a consul (titular Empire to make all title holders voters (at least dukes from what I have seen so far) Some pretty exciting content in Persia, Egypt and Greece lately as I push into the Ionian revolts, Peloponnesian war, Persian Empires formation and power struggles etc more to come in the near future!

As mentioned by the actual mod alpha description, only the 653 BC bookmark is partially completed right now, the later bookmarks are still heavily under development (as is the initial bookmark) In addition several government forms, such as the centralized tribal, Roman Republic, Oligarchic Thassalocracy, and Vedic governments are still WIP so not are completely stable or playable yet. At the moment, I am relieved with the upcoming patch and dlc additions to tributary and casus belli mechanics as I have been overhauling the vanilla ones for awhile and the actual patch will deliver alot more functionality in terms of the tributary system (client states etc) which I was working on

Don't worry I've released nothing and am trying to see if the mod works first... and I'willnot be using your gfx so yes I will contact you if it ever be a thing .... but I thought it could be an interessting submod or somewhat... I'm actually still doing cultures so it's not very near any sort of release, ...

I wanted also to usz stuff from Enlil so I should better just make it enough good foryou both accepting it's existence

I hope you won't mind me asking, and I'll understand if you refuse, but: would it be possible for the Forgotten Realms mod to use your Egyptian and Mesopotamian hair and headgear, please? A recent change to our other art assets has rendered our existing set unsuitable, and yours are excellent.

Hey, I'd be willing to help, if you want. I'm mainly in the field of historical linguistics, and I know a few things. I'd be able and willing to provide you with reconstructed names and whatnot for some of the "barbarian" cultures, and I may be of help in some other areas.
