Correction: It does change the river and border graphics even if you're not using SWMH. The terrain changes however are SWMH-only.

No need to be sorry. Thank you for showing this. I can fix the issue, but first I must first obtain permission from AOOQE so it will take a while. Luckily its nothing gamebreaking.
Are you sure you PMed the right person? For the proper nickname is EOOQEWaited for two weeks and still no PM reply from AOOQE, so aside from continued compatibility, there will be no bugfixing.
I was just being lazy and copy-pasted the typo'ed nickname from my previous post, but yes, it was correct in the PM.Are you sure you PMed the right person? For the proper nickname is EOOQE

Does this currently work at its full glory without SWMH? I could not find an answer throughout the thread's pages
no idea is protected, only the assets/creations are. So yes you could make a mod that makes borders smaller and better textured, there is nothing wrong with that. However you can't redistribute his work, so it has to be completely your own work/execution unless you got a permission from him to use some of his assets.NBRT+ is probably one of my most favorite mini-mods of them all, so a bigto EOOQE for making the original mod.
I had asked one of the forum people the last time NBRT got canned... but I forgot the response. Couldn't someone just create a new mod that does what NB does? Or is the idea of "making border sizes small" a protected idea now or something? I've not been bugged enough to figure out the details of mod rules.
Is NBRT+ going to be updated in the near future, at least bug fixed ?
What bugs? The zooming-in (or zooming-out, I forget) issue that you referred to awhile back? If so, no, that probably won't be fixed soon (possibly ever) due to EOOQE's absence. I'm not aware of any real bugs (at least on Windows), though, and I use NBRT+ religiously.
...sooo, apparently the mod doesn't work with 2.3 anymore (although it did for a while with older patches even after EOOQE discontinued its update). I get a mostly black, messed up map right upon launching the game.
Does somebody know if there is a way to make it compatible with the latest patch? In fact, what I'm really interested in are the borders - after playing with the thin, clean and understandable ones from NBRT, I just can't go back to the default ones.
I've even looked in the mods list and searched for something which enhanced just those but it would seem like I'm short of luck
I also know this has been asked before, just making sure nobody really knows![]()
I've had the same issue since CM (I didn't purchase the DLC however) and haven't found a way to fix it.
The NBRT lite version linked in the previous page works next to HIP though. You'll have everything but the beautiful textures.
Here's the link to the download page: http://www.arumba.tv/mods/
Hope it helps![]()
It works for me and countless of others. What modules do you use?
When was the last time you tried regular NBRT+? It was only made compatible about 2 weeks after CM. But if you're fine with only running lite then it doesn't really matter I suppose...The whole HIP package:
EMF
Arkopack
SWMH
VIET events
CPR
It used to work fine prior to CM, didn't play for a couple months and then updated the mod after the DLC came out (didn't purchase CM nor WOL), without changing my setup. I however have a very low end computer, slightly below the system requirements, it thus might very well come from my end, and I'm fine just using the already beautiful NBRT lite.
@ Fizzwhizz: thank you for the tip, but I only use NBRT+LIGHT V.02 and it definitely seems not to work any longer...
@ Lord of Pain: have you had positive experiences with NBRT+LIGHT V.02 alone, or are you using some version/combination of HIP as well?
