What is it?
This map overhaul changes rivers and waterways across the map. Adding over 450 river tiles across 74 river systems and the ability to traverse several major lakes.

-Tigris-Euphrates now use the correct names for the main tributaries instead of being flipped.

I can not replicate these issues. Are you using the Microsoft Store / Game Pass version?

looks like some other mods are also having issues with that version of the game. Could you try.
1. Manually downloading from Subscribe dropdown button.
2. Create a folder called MNR2 in Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod.
3. Extract the zip file to that new folder.
4. Move the MNR2.mod file from the MNR2 folder to the mod folder.
When you open the launcher it should show up under Mods with a hard drive icon beside it to indicate that it was installed manually.
 
I can confirm this, it doesn't work for me either using the Gamepass version and having the mod added via ParadoxPlaza. Tried the manual install just now but no success either. The zip files has to .mod files one called "MNR2" and one called "Descriptor" as matter of fact the launcher can't enable the MNR2 mod file (the launcher says path invalid" but with the descriptor mod file it can be disabled. Mod still doesn't work though
 
Yeah I already found out too that the path needs to be mods/XY. The file had your own file directory before, so of course it didn't work. Manual install works this way also with the file changes you made. Funnily enough when I download that new version via the downloader it still doesn't work. So manual install it is. But I am wondering what the root cause is, because other mods do work.
 
I managed to make Community Title Project (another mod which only worked with manual install) work by editing the files in the package but couldn't make it work for your mod so far.
 
At this point I am all out of ideas. The only thing that this does differently than Community Title Project is that they have already done steps 2 through 4 in the zip file.
If I do that then it will stop working for steam user who subscribe to the paradox mods.

For some unknown reason the launcher likes to auto complete paths in the .mod files. From now on looks like I will be doing manual uploading instead of using the launcher for CK3.

Haha actually thats the reason it didn't work with the launcher at least for me. I compared other working mods with it and the workings ones had in common that all the files are directly in the package (no subfolder) and that they only have the descriptor.mod file since the launcher seems to create the mod files for each mod himself (see attached screenshot). But you have all the files inside the package without the subfolger so I tried deleting the MNR2.mod file and then activate it but it didn't work. For CTP it worked. It makes no sense whatsoever. ‍¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have been enjoying your mod since day two it came out. Great mod!

Just a tiny question, would you ever consider marrying yours with "Down With All Sea Connections (Cipher´s Collection)"? I would've tinkered it on my own, but map modding is beyond my skill sets.

I play with the Tales of Ireland mod regularly (which features a different map) and I've also tried the LotR mod before. I haven't personally tried any of those maps/mods, but I could give it a shot if you think its worthwhile?

If Tales of Ireland and LotR are working for you no need to try any of the exampels that I listed. I will look into what they do diffrent and see aout implamenting what i find into my update for CK3 1.5.

Thank you! I know the Tales of Ireland devs are very active on their Discord so that might be a good place to ask :)

I'm gonna try one last thing - there used to be a way to manually download workshop mods, I'm going to see if that's still possible and if so, try and install that version to see if it makes a difference.
