What are your opinions on adding punny names for the animal cultures? Like Paris becomes Purrris if held by a cat, etc.
I've updated the Norman, Berber, Occitan, Suebi, Dutch, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Bosnian, German, Bedouin, Outremer, and Sub Saharan African cultures. These are somewhat major changes since the translations were incomplete for these lists. The Dutch for example had only half the names translated, while the other half was somehow like vanilla this entire time. All of these lists also gained a few names that were used during the CK2 time period, especially for cultures with few names, like Bosnian and Croatian.
The Outremer name list is just a copy of the French list from vanilla, which I kept and just translated all the names on there.
I've edited a few of the Suebi female names.
For the new Sub Saharan Africans, all of them received translations for applicable names, mostly Islamic names like Muhammad and Ismail.
I've also given a translation for the name Sayyid, since there were many variations like "Said", "S'ad", and "Syed".
Changed some base names, which are:
Manuel -> Emmanuel
August -> Augustus or Augustine, depending on the name
I will post my changes later so these can be updated.
Also, since the Iberian cultures take longer to form (850), I might add a few more Visigothic (Ibero Romance/Old Spanish) names since forming Hispania will stop the Iberian melting pot event. I'm going to primarily base them off of historic bishops, archbishops, priests, and so on from that time period.

I'm working on Dalmatian feudal titles.
I'm doing my best with the source I have, it's hard since I can't read much Italian. My constructions are count, countess, duke, duchess and empress, the rest are in the glossary.

That looks great! As for the names, are going to change some of the Dalmatian names in the list? It's a mix of regular Latin, like Petrus, with some Dalmatian varieties, Juliano, as well as some Italian influence as well. We should pick of these themes and roll with it. The Republic of Ragusa was a Dalmatian hub for this time period, albeit with a strong Italian/Venetian influence.
Yes I am going to go through the name list, I already changed the preposition to de, the form used in Dalmatian. I'm going to apply Dalmatian sounds changes to Latin forms of the current tiny dalmatian list and then go from there.

Sounds great! I've made a few more changes to the Occitan list, removing a few names I previously added but replacing them with more acceptable replacements. The list is still plentiful.
I've also updated some localizations, mainly for Outremer titles, using the same as French. Bosnian now also has unique titles for all tiers.
I've added some Italian translations for a few places in the Balkans and in in Thrace/Anatolia. Bosnian translations for places in Carinthia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia has been added.
Lastly, I added a few more Visigothic male names. All are names of notable Visigothic bishops and kings.
It's funny you bring up the mixed elements, because in many cases the glossary lists multiple forms of words some of which are loans or influenced by Venetian.
Paradox has me really frustrated right now...I'm trying find/create roman/Latin names for everything under k_mauretania and k_africa not covered by this mod but it is so frustrating because Paradox chooses some of the most obscure place names I have ever seen.
I use the Arabic Wikipedia (via Google translate) which often has more then the English one but its still frustrating as balls.

If trying to recreate Dalmatian names becomes too tedious, you could getaway with using Venetian names. But the key thing is using actual Venetian, not modern Italian.
Here is what I have for the Germanic gods' names. I need to take more time to figure out the code, not the this feature is working at the moment.
Jörmungandr, Loki and Fenrir will need more linguistic work. Should I translate allfather and thunderer too?

I have finished some work done on the Germanic god names. Jörmungandr is broken into two elements: Jörmun means "great, strong or whole" and has cognates in other Germanic languages, The other element gandr has no cognates and has three meanings "black magic", "a magic staff" and "a wolf, a dangerous beast," the last one is what applies. Now this god has another name Miðgarðsormr or Midgardschlange in German. Literally "Middle earth snake" Mið-garð-sormr Mid-gard-schlange. This one is easier to translate. Should I use names with hypothetical elements like eormengeand and irmingand or more substantiated forms like Middangeardsleanga and Middilgardslango. The first of each example is Old English and the later Old Saxon.
Fun side note gandr is the base of Gandalf's name in Lord of the Rings.

Dakilla TM the person helping me with Crimean Gothic has found a lot of gothic names do you think we should use some of these?
That looks good to me! There's only so much we can do, but for game purposes, this will be plenty enough for most players except for the most technical linguists. Do you want me to upload my changes?

I've been working on the code for culture based god names for Germanic paganism. I've fixed many bugs in landed titles. Paradox made some changes to landed titles in the last patch I'll have to incorporate those too.

I also slightly modified the Norman list. A few names were edited to add accents, and some were changed based on the names of Norman rulers of Sicily.
I found an error in the English names, where the name Boniface has two base names. It's very easy to spot, so delete the extra base name.
There are some capitalization errors in the localization file, like the Norman empress title is lowercase.
There are also two Somerset duchies. One is called d_hampshire. I'm doing a Norman England game and I saw this, so I changed the d_hampshire name for English and Normans to "Wessex", as that's the name for the Germanic translations. The other Somerset was left alone.
Also, could you provide me with the Dalmatian names that you have so far?
